I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and I have been providing therapeutic services to teens for about twenty five years. I started providing services to youth in various summer camps and skills training classes. After graduation I worked with various entities providing skills based training and counseling services to at risk youth. I have also worked with foster children and understand the difficulties of being in foster care. My therapeutic style is down to earth, warm, caring, compassionate, straight forward, and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with teenagers and am skilled at helping them through the developmental stages of becoming a successful
adult and any additional difficulties that life brings forth. Through the years I have helped many kids with ADHD, ADD, behavioral issues, relationship conflicts with family/friends, bullying, self-esteem, goal setting, depression, anxiety and trauma. My therapeutic approach is through cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR Therapy. I also provide assistance to parents struggling to understand what is occurring with their child, providing parenting skills as necessary and educational information regarding diagnosis and treatment. Together, we can all work to help your teen become a successful adult who will thrive in life. I look forward to partnering with you and working with your child.

Tracy is amazing and extremely helpful. Her primary concern is to make sure her clients feel safe in counseling so that healing can happen, which is particularly helpful when working through traumas related to abusive authorities and previous therapists. She is very supportive, and her expertise in trauma therapy has been a lifesaver for me, after several previous attempts at therapy with non-trauma specialists.
Tracy is thoughtful of my needs and knowledgeable in the latest counseling techniques.
I started seeing Tracy about a year ago and the changes I've seen in my life are incredible. I wasn't initially set up with her, and had a pretty terrible experience with the first counselor, so I was apprehensive when I decided to start over and started looking for a new one on this platform. I mulled it over for days, and Tracy always ended up at the top of my list for potential counselors, and I finally chose her. I can't imagine what things would have been like if I hadn't! She's helped me work through all kinds of things, and was very focused on helping me process through my PTSD using EMDR Therapy. On top of that, she's always been there to give me whatever advice I may need. I truly believe the best part about working with Tracy is that she's never once told me what to do. She always hears me out, and REALLY listens to what I'm saying, then offers what she determines are the best solutions, and allows me to make a choice. She notices things I don't and really opened my eyes in a lot of situations that I'd probably still be in if it wasn't for her. In the last year, I have never once felt judged or like she couldn't understand what I was going through. She honestly helped me change my life and I will forever be grateful for finding her. She's very easy to talk to, and has always been available when I've needed her.
Tracy is a great counselor. She is a great listener and a very good advice-giver. After our sessions life always seems better.
Tracy is just so amazing. One thing I really like is that there's always a kind of relaxed vibe. I don't feel like my problems are the only thing that matter anymore. We also talk about things I like and about different cultures and just a lot of things. While talking about those things we often find things that we could still work on or things that could be really helpful. She doesn't just feel like my counselor, but also a friend. I'm so thankful for everything she has done and I appreciate her so so much.

How to start? Tracy has been such an incredible counselor. I have learned so much about myself during this process. She has taught me about taking care of myself. Also when I was struggling with anxiety, she was so helpful. I really enjoyed all this process with her and I definitely refined her.
Tracy Simpson is amazing! We are doing EMDR therapy and it has helped me more than I could have ever hoped for. Tracy is very skilled. I trust her completely. I love that she helps me keep my faith as a priority in everything we talk about. I am so very thankful for her. I recommend her to friends all the time.
Amazing! Has been so helpful
I've been talking with Tracy for about a month now and she has been so supportive and helpful! She talks with you in a nurturing and respectful manner. It feels very natural to talk to her, like if I was talking to a friend. I would recommend her to anybody!
A good listener and gives advice like a parent and a professional at the same, very understanding.
Talking to Tracy really helped me to reflect on my life and speak about it as I truly saw it without feeling judged. I opened up and was able to identify the areas that needed attention immediately, but also she helped me to realize that I can hand things over to God so that I don't carry the burden on my own. I have talked with her for almost 3 weeks and I feel so much better.
