As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified, I work predominately with children, adolescents and adults who suffer from depression, anxiety and other mental/behavioral health challenges such as low self esteem, adjustment disorders, self-harm, social limitations, and outbursts of aggression. Much of my experience as a therapist has been focused on helping individuals who have experienced traumatic, confusing, or stressful life events, such as physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, neglect, the death of a loved one, divorce, or a medical trauma. I am certified in Play Therapy; a modality which helps children and adolescents express their emotions, cope with trauma and gain positive social skills through play. I am trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or "tapping"). I also provide counseling to couples and families. I have experience in alcohol and substance abuse disorders. I incorporate art and music therapy techniques; as well as mindfulness to enhance outcomes and make therapy a more enjoyable experience. I am dedicated to the helping profession and to those who want to improve their emotional well-being.

Traci has been a very helpful outlet and can adjust to my schedule, whether it be intermittent contact or setting up more frequent meetings. She understands my needs and offers solutions and paths to better myself.
My counselor was on time for session and she is always quick to respond to my messages. I am very happy with Traci Wachter and teen counseling.
Traci is caring and reached out when she hadn't heard from us.
She has been great and very helpful to my son.
Traci is a responsible and reliable counselor. She was really patient and has given me very useful advice. Definitely recommend!
Traci has been more than supportive and helpful. This is the first time in my life that I’ve signed up for therapy and I’m glad I was matched with Traci. She is consistent and you can tell she’s here to help.
I enjoyed my session with Traci. She was able to give me a variety of CBT techniques in our very first session. She listened intently to what I had to share, and overall, I felt the session was well-run and the conversation had a positive effect on my mood.
