Tosha Robbins

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor. I have over 10yrs of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and military families. I have practiced in community and inpatient agencies, as well as in schools providing individual, family and group therapy, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management, self-esteem, grief and loss, family conflict, parenting skills, ADHD and trauma.

My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, rational emotive behavioral therapy, as well as utilizing the individual’s strengths and coping skills to help work through identified issues.

I believe that it is important to develop a therapeutic relationship with each individual as it is an essential part of the counseling process. Creating a safe environment for open communication builds trust with each other. I am a supportive, respectful, active listener and I believe in meeting each individual where they are. I believe that providing strong support helps individuals to achieve their desired goals.

I know that it can be difficult to ask for help and I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you.

Mrs. Robbins has been a comfortable person to speak with. Allows us to explain what is on our minds without judgment.

So far so good.

Tosha is great. I felt comfortable with her from the beginning. She has a little sass and will hold you accountable but she can also laugh with you and make jokes which I love.
