Written on Aug 05, 2019 after therapy with Tina Marie for 1 year and 4 months on issues concerning relationship

Dr. Glover has transformed our marriage. We came into this with few "tools" to navigate a life together and she has given us the tools to create a harmonious relationship, even when faced with challenges. Her insight has taught us to cope with conflicts differently, set clear boundaries and to see each other through the eyes of compassion. She has become a valuable part of our journey and we are grateful for her "no-nonsense" approach which has been more effective for us that the traditional, "sterile" counseling sessions we've experienced in the past. Dr. Glover is invested in her clients and offers "maternal" guidance/wisdom; you get what you need to hear not what you want to hear. We will be forever grateful to teencounseling.com for her presence in our lives - it was destined.

As another woman of color, Tina understands my anxiety from life under Trump and helps to cope with trauma of living under fascism.

The first time I saw Dr. Glover on video chat, I got mad. I had requested someone over 45 and there was no way this woman was over 45. Come to find out, she is actually pushing 55, and apparently black really doesn't crack. She is open, genuine, non-judgmental, honest, and personable. She is way over qualified for this job, just read her credentials, you won't finish reading it, i will watch you try to finish reading it. They are so long I gave up halfway through and was like, alright, I really get it, you know what you're doing. We have established trust, we have a rapport that I wasn't expecting to happen as fast as it did, and I really respect her. I have a feeling she is going to walk me through some of the hardest parts of dealing with myself in a real way, and I just know that this is good. This is good for me.
