About me
As a School-Based Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adolescents and young adults using various interventions tailored to each individual and their needs. My therapeutic experience mostly consists of services provided to adult and adolescent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and stress related issues. I use a variety of assessment tools to identify behavioral health needs and Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing according to the client’s individual needs, I work with the client and family to create treatment goals that are feasible as well as helpful to all who are involved.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2014 and soon after graduated from Florida Atlantic University with my Master’s in Social work in 2015 through the Advanced Standing Program. I have gained years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including long term and brief interventions. Areas of concentration include:
• Adults, children and adolescents with behavioral issues
• Anxiety, depression and other various DSM V diagnosis
• Life stresses and next steps
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions and techniques provided via individual, group, or family sessions
• Psychoeducation and referral resources to aide client and family experiencing need.
I believe that a large part of wellness is having healthy, meaningful relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves. Change happens when we are honest with ourselves about what is missing in our lives, and what we need from ourselves and others. I am willing to work together building skills that will help you move forward in life.

Tierra has been an excellent therapist! She listens well and encourages reflection and use of strategies that we’ve discussed. She has been very helpful through both voice call and messages. I appreciate all that I have learned from her and have been able to apply.
Very kind, understanding and helpful. Insightful and a great listener. Really helped me and I wish I could continue seeing her
My daughter loves her therapy sessions and she has confidence to talk about things she usually struggles with.
