These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Suzanne Johnson-Grace. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
I have grown by leaps and bounds by working with Suzanne, she listens and provides the best guidance, I would recommend her highly.
Having contacted Suzanne months later for help after my son had finished his sessions, Suzanne has been very helpful with her assistance
Starting therapy was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year and Suzanne has been such a great help in helping me find coping mechanisms to deal with my day to day life.
Suzanne has been helping me overcome many mental health issues (mainly with eating disorder, health anxiety, and gaining self confidence in general). I was a little hesitant about therapy at first, but Suzanne has completely changed my mind! She is an amazing listener and she asks all the right questions for me to understand what the issue is and what I should do moving forward. I can tell she genuinely cares for her clients and she checks in every week before the next session as well! I can’t thank her enough for guiding me through these issues and I look forward to our session every week :)
Suzanne is wonderful at making me think of things from a different perspective, and I am feeling much more positive about the future after only a couple of sessions.
I feel like our sessions are really productive and that we're making progress all the time. I'm able to relax and be myself and Suzanne is already proving to be the supportive and encouraging presence I knew I needed to help me on my counselling journey. Thanks Suzanne!
Suzanne is fantastic. I just love speaking to her and the focus she has on things that I don’t even reflect on. Also is present and supports me during the week, between the sessions, when is not always easy to hold it together.
Thanks very much Suzanne for being with me with guidance and support in the hardest of my times!
I have tried counseling at many points in my life without feeling that it has ever been a helpful fit for me, and it never lasted for more than a handful of sessions. For a number of months now my sessions with Suzanne have been insightful and very useful in working towards winning at the game of life... or at least working through some stuff.
I am very happy with my 'Counselor' and with the teencounseling.com platform.
She's calm, patient, and has a wonderful sense of humour. We're very lucky to have found her when we did.
She helped us find towards eachother and continue to overcome insecurities. The mistakes that were made didn't continue to define our relationship, and with more work, might even become a learning experience.
Definitely a wonderful therapist to consider!
Suzanne is an excellent “in the moment” thought partner and guide; she asks gentle but purposeful questions that help me think for myself and discover answers that are in front of me. I find her positive and consistent support to be authentic and refreshing - thank you
I sometimes wish everyone could have Suzanne as a therapist. She is kind, patient, understanding, and provides crucial perspective even when I’m unable to see the forest through the trees
Suzzane is very intentional with her work. She is definitely someone who everyone can lean on. A few reasons are how she is like your friend that listens intently and tries to understand you without interrupting, she completely understands you and makes you a priority she will adjust your own pace and when you need help she will start open-ended questions that will make you reflect and truly understand your own personal problem. She has this magic of letting you know yourself which is definitely a rare gift, instead of her giving you advice that you can follow she helps you be that person. She will make you your own therapist and that is very great because no one knows yourself more than yourself and once you reach that level you start believing on your own and you can make decisions very wisely. I want to thank Suzzane for being my therapist. Getting help is hard but for those who did you're amazing and very brave!
Suzanne is a fantastic counsellor, I always feel heard, understood and supported. I believe she understands my key concerns and has provided me with some helpful insights and actionable steps to start working. Her support has been incredibly valuable to me and I highly recommend her.
Suzanne is an amazingly empathetic listener. I find it difficult to open up to people but she made it so easy.
I have found myself increasingly out of touch with my feelings and desires. She really helped me to get back in touch with my feelings and realise the importance of my relationship with myself. It has been an epic journey for me and I am so thankful to have had Suzanne help me through it.
No frills. Gets right to work on getting to know us, the issue(s), and talking about it/them
Suzanne has been so helpful during this time in changing the way I feel about myself and dealing with past traumas. I’m grateful for the help I’ve received and I look forward to keep working together.
Right out of the box, Suzanne seems to be a good fit for my husband and me. We are excited to be moving forward with more sessions with her.
She’s very gentle and kind
Suzzane is amazing and you feel comfortable speaking with her. She has helped tremendously.
Suzzane is great, asks really good insightful questions to help me understand myself and my situations better.
Suzanne has been very supportive and the most wonderful listening ear. I feel confident in my ability to heal with her by my side!
When I first started therapy with Suzanne, I was dealing with intense anxiety that dominated all my waking hours, as well as insomnia that kept me up to avg ~3am most nights for over half a year. I was honestly skeptical of therapy since I have worked with 6 different therapists in the past (not through teencounseling.com), and didn't feel it really worked for me. But Suzanne really changed my idea of therapy for the better. Since working with her, my mental health has improved immensely and I've experienced a ton healing in our time together. Her empathic and compassionate listening, relevant advice and knowledge, and warm presence really put me at ease and helped me move through probably the biggest transition of my life, as well as a lot of past trauma. I feel eons lighter and much more at peace with myself, my life, and my relationships, and I can attribute a lot of that to working with Suzanne - the level of insight and practical homework that came out of every session really helped me feel like I was making progress in my healing. Suzanne, thank you so much for all the hard work that you do. It is an amazing skill to care and counsel. Thank you for changing my life! :)
Suzanne is thoughtful and professional. She asks good, thought-provoking questions that help me see things in a different light. I feel at ease talking to her, and she has helped me make progress with my mental health.
Suzanne is a very good listener. She picks up on subtleties and knows when to elaborate on something. We feel that she is very fair and she knows how to give couples some space to talk to one another while also directing the conversation productively. She doesn’t pick sides, so it’s easy to trust her and feel that we are both being heard.
Suzanne has been my rock during one of the hardest times in my life. She has really helped me figure out why I do the things that I do. I can’t thank her enough. I went from dreading our conversations because they were hard to get through to really looking forward to them because they are such a relief.
Suzanne is a very caring professional councilor. She listens very well and asks the right questions at the right time to help me think more clearly about my issues.
Suzanne has helped me immensely !! I absolutely love her
I have every bit of confidence that she is going to change my life and I can’t wait
Suzanne has been such a help for me over the past few months. She makes me feel heard, understood, and offers me so much compassion. I can feel myself growing. I would recommend Suzanne to everyone.
I feel so supported by Suzanne and she has such a lovely enthusiasm when I hit on something important that can help me. I feel so much better knowing she is just a message away and really feel like I have made progress and started working through some very difficult feelings. Thank you.
Suzan has been a good support during the past few weeks. Knowing that I have some one to fully talk to helps in being less pressured on events.
I like the way Suzanne rephrases our comments to be sure she heard what we thought we said and also how she confirms with the other partner regarding if they agree/how they feel about what the other partner said. She is really helping us to open up and talk more openly with each other, which was our goal
Very kind and helpful
I really enjoy my sessions with Suzanne. She is gentle, listens well, and really makes me feel understood.
You've been a great help for me to understand my issues.
Suzanne is a great counselor who is very patient and understanding. She has helped me through my stress and depression, not only in understanding the cause but in moving on and looking forward to the future. I would definitely recommend her counseling.
I'm in the early stages with her but so far she's done a great job. Really looking forward to us getting to know each other better. I'm confident she can help me resolve some violent brain rot.
She's awesome. Helped me out a lot and very understanding.
I have only had 2 sessions with Suzanne but so far she is wonderful and really helps articulate what I am feeling and how to manage it.
I have found Suzanne incredibly supportive and helpful in enabling me to think more clearly and formulate plans of action to help me to overcome my anxiety, which was particularly bad at the time I started counselling. I found Suzanne to be non- judgemental and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her input.
Suzane’s best skill is being an empathic listener. I could easily talk to her
I like Suzanne’s approach. She’s authentically empathetic, gentle, and direct. A great listener, she quickly grasps the main issues. She’s very respectful. I like her a lot.
An absolute joy to obtain help from. She is extremely nice, caring, warm and really encourages an environment of trust. She is quite skilled in knowing what questions to ask so as to help me better understand myself, in so doing helping me recover from trauma in an appropriate fashion. My mental state has absolutely leapt since I began counseling with Suzanne and she has helped me nuke my childhood trauma and identity issues. An amazing counselor for me, and I would totally recommend her to anyone facing similar types of issues.
Very responsive and is able to communicate with me almost every day. She listens to what I have to say and always has an insight or point of view that I missed.
