About me
Hello! My name is Suzanne and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have worked in social services for the past 20 years with adolescents ages 10-17 and their families. I have worked with people with a wide range of concerns, including: substance use, educational issues, relational issues, stress, anxiety, parental issues among other things. I enjoy working with teens and helping them navigate the things they are experiencing.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child and being part of your family's journey. Your child is the expert regarding their life and I am here to help accomplish the goals for counseling we come up with together. I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Together, your child and I will figure out the type of counseling that works best for them.
Seeking counseling can be intimidating and scary. It is also exciting and the beginning of creating a better life for yourself and your loved ones. I am excited to be part of the journey!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Suzanne Hainlen. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Suzanne has been a great therapist to my 13-year-old daughter. She has really helped her give her the tools for what she needs right now for her life. Suzanna has been very helpful for us to navigate through some hard situations she has been going through. She always respond to my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend Suzanna
Suzanne is a great listener and an integral part of our success in couples therapy. She is very caring and always made us feel equally validated.
Suzanne Hainlen has been extremely helpful. I am not a fan of therapy, but she does a great job allowing my husband and I to discuss things constructively. She offers insight we wouldn't see ourselves. I have recommended both her and teencounseling.com already.
Suzanne has been very apt and attentive. I feel speaking to her has helped me work through some of my problems, and I’d recommend her to a friend.
Suzanne has been great so far with helping me and my partner overcome our past and present struggles. She listens to understand and guides us in the direction towards a healthier, happier life.
Suzanne has done a wonderful job leading me to realize the steps I need to take to get myself into a happier headspace. She is very likable, a great listener and very encouraging. With her guidance I got out of the semi dark place that I was in. Thank you Suzanne.
Suzanne has been such a support to our relationship work, were grateful for her time and expertise.
Suzanne has been great so far.
Great listener with lots of insightful and valid observations.
Suzanne is compassionate and shows she cares about what I have to say. She is attentive and understanding.
I enjoy speaking to Suzanne but I have not expressed that I want feedback so it is not her fault. I want feedback or questions, not me telling her how I feel then her repeating it back to me.
A very respectful counselor who is sensitive to my needs and very encouraging.
Suzanne is very engaging! I feel very comfortable in our space.
