Adolescence is the most difficult time of all. Kids are not little kids anymore and yet they are not quite adults. They are searching for an identity separate from their parents and it can be quite a bumpy road. I studied a master theorist, Piaget. He wrote volumes of information on "Adolescent Egocentrism". During this time, kids feel invincible, that nothing will happen to them, and they are the center of the universe. It takes understanding parents to allow their child the room to find their unique identity without totally disrupting the entire family. I believe that I am particularly good at helping with this childhood developmental issue. Working together, we can help your young adult emerge as a well-rounded and fully functioning individual.
I conduct 45-minute sessions, beginning on the hour and ending at a quarter till. A "No Show is considered to be fifteen minutes past the hour. Now ... the first step is to hop onto my calendar and schedule an appointment. We'll take it from there. Talk soon! Charlie

Thank you so much sharla you are amazing! ❤️
Charlie has been such a great help for me. She's a great listener and can empathize with her client in meaningful ways. Charlie telling her stories of her life helped me connect with her and certainly enriches the overall therapy experience.
Certainly recommend her to anyone seeking help :)
I love this therapist!
Sharla has been working with my daughter, and it is going really well. I am starting to see my daughter like she used to be.
One of the most caring and understanding people i know, genuine in her actions and a solid loving person couldn't ask for a better therapist and one who will get down to the bottom of the source but will do it with you all the way. Never once have i felt lost or led astray by her.
Charlie has been a great help for my husband and me. We spoke with her about communication concerns and she acted as both a great sounding board and as a resource for advice, guidance and tips. I can genuinely say that Charlie has guided us to a very good place and has given us the tools we need to continue to keep communicating better. Thanks a million, Charlie!!!
She is empathetic and responsive
Sharla has been very helpful to me and my concerns.
Charlie is a breath of fresh air. She listens intently and is there to offer any feedback and support as you need/want it. The first few counselors I didn't quite hit it off with, but I am so glad I got matched with Charlie!!! She is non-judgemental and always makes you feel valued and understood.
She is very personable and has provided us with many ways to address our concerns. She is relatable and is able to grasp the root cause of our issues. She is extremely easy to talk to and has provided us with tools to communicate better. Thank you
So far I have found Sharla (Charlie) to be sensitive, attentive and instructive. She has already gotten to the root of my issue and helping me navigate it with positive reinforcement and firm guidance.
Charlie is so easy to talk to and understanding and I recommend her to anyone starting out therapy! I never felt judged by her and she always made me feel validated in our sessions.
Listens & understands well
I am very happy to have found a therapist that speak the same "language" as me. Her modalities and our discussions really resonate and I appreciate that I can be open and honest without feeling judged.
I truly enjoy working with her and look forward to our weekly sessions.
Sharla is very competent and a good listener. She made me feel heard and appreciated. I would come to her again in the future.
