About Me

I have been employed in the healthcare field since early 2012 and have held various roles in several health systems ranging from Direct Care to Population Health Management and Managed Care Utilization. I completed my under, and post-graduate education at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. The bulk of my experience has been in providing behavioral health treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use issues to both adults and adolescents. My current full time focus is in overseeing a an Intensive Outpatient substance abuse program for adolescent clients age 12-17 in the Metro Detroit, Michigan. In addition to the oversight and service delivery for the adolescent clients, I provide the family presentations and family therapy sessions within the the Intensive Outpatient program.
Most recently, my continued education in the addiction counseling field has lead to my training at the Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Center where I am certified as a Tobacco/Nicotine treatment specialist. This education has been essential in helping many of my clients to overcome their addiction to nicotine/vaping/smoking.
Moreover, I am experienced in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders in the adolescent population and bring a nonjudgmental approach to my work with teenage clients.

Scott has been amazing, I feel very lucky to have been matched so quickly with someone who has helped me get right to work on myself! This has been an amazing and wonderful experience and I would recommend Scott to anyone struggling with the same things I am!
