About me

Hello my name is Robert Skuy. I have 7 years of clinical experience in working with teens. As a new therapist I was assigned often to work with families and children who have become involved with child welfare. I have worked with children who have suffered emotional, and physical trauma. I have worked with blended family issues. Each person and family are unique.

Some of the tools I have used include Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, Play Therapy and Family Systems Therapy.

Robert is doing great. Sometimes, I wonder if he should be harder on me but I'm not sure if that's what I or anyone else really needs from their therapist. Either way, he's been a big help!

So far so good just want to keep progressing and working on myself. My goal is to be a healed man from my past childhood trauma and just traumas in general getting over my survival instincts and relying on controlling my behavior in more heavier ways

Robert was such a kind and caring listener, I am so lucky to have been paired with him for my time with teen counseling.
