About me

I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the State of Wisconsin. I have more than four years experience providing services to individuals age 4 to 60+, with my primary practice focus working with children and adolescents, young adults, and parents/caregivers. I am a Certified Parent Peer Support Specialist in addition to my clinical licensure. I have experience with a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, Autism, ADHD, etc. I have also worked with individuals with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities in addition to their mental health diagnoses.

My therapeutic approach is to be radically genuine and open, as well as person centered and trauma informed. I provide evidence based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (a trauma treatment specifically for individuals under the age of 18). I will work with you to identify your goals and develop my treatment approach to your specific needs.

Adolescence can be a challenging time, and it takes a lot of strength to recognize that you need support and to reach out for help. I look forward to working with you and helping you to build your life worth living!

We have been with Rebecca for just under a month, and my daughter is enjoying the weekly sessions, the regular texts, and the helpful worksheets and suggestions. I also find Rebecca very helpful in communication while not breaking confidence.

She related with me on a level that makes it easy to feel relaxed and comfortable. I was able to talk about things that I typically shut out from saying to others. I genuinely look forward to my next session.

Becca has been fantastic in all my experiences with her, and has helped me understand myself in ways no professional before did. She is fluent in a range of different styles of communication and counselling and shifts to the one or a mixture of those which fit the most with my state on the day. She provides a great mix of immediate / short-term support and long-term planning / growth. I would recommend her to anyone!

Rebecca is a very caring person and supportive. She is helpful in giving tools to use in working on concerns I have. And always checks in on me even when I do and don't have a lot to say. I think she is good at knowing what kind of input you need to work on issues of concern and also of when you just need someone to listen. I am thankful to have her as a counselor.

Rebecca was a big help to me. She spoke to me like a friend in the way she related to me and how she listened, but was also able to show we different paths. She provided a lot of excellent resources for me which made me feel able to think about sessions way after they were done. She checked in often, remembered many details, and showed a lot of compassion. She’s lovely Highly recommend.
