About me

Hi there – and welcome!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice in South Carolina, with four years of experience helping teens and their families navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from University of Georgia and have focused my career on supporting adolescents through the ups and downs of growing up.

I work with teens who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, and big life changes. I also help with school pressures, social struggles, family conflict, and more. Whether things feel overwhelming or just a little “off,” therapy can be a place to figure it out—together.

My therapy style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I create a space where teens feel comfortable being themselves, without judgment. I also partner with parents (when needed and appropriate) to support healthy communication and strengthen family dynamics. I use a mix of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and integrative approaches—tailoring each plan to what works best for the individual teen.

At the heart of my work is the belief that every teen deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. My goal is for each session to be a space where growth happens, confidence builds, and life starts to feel a little more manageable.

I look forward to working with you and your family on this journey!

Rachael is awesome! She makes my teen feel calm, heard, and has great techniques to practice to help my teen with her anxiety. I highly recommend her!

Over the last few months, I’ve walked through some really difficult health challenges that deeply affected my mental health as well. Rachael has been such a steady, grounding presence through it all. From our very first session, I felt completely comfortable with her — like I’d known her forever.

She creates such a safe, judgment-free space where I feel truly heard and understood. She has helped me process fear, anxiety, and uncertainty in a way that feels empowering instead of overwhelming. I genuinely don’t know how I would have navigated this season without her support.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, insightful, and deeply invested in her clients, Rachael is truly amazing.

This has been such a beautiful and enlightening experience. I never knew how much I truly needed this until I took the step to start.

Great listener with the perfect mode of “interrupting” to Segway or keep me on track without making me feel weird. Very positive and empathetic. I have seen my fair share of therapists and in just a couple of sessions I can tell that she’s really genuine and good at what she does!

Rachel is a wonderful gentle listener. She is the first therapist I have worked with that understands how to meet me where I am when I show up to our sessions. She also does a great job at setting obtainable goals for me that don’t feel overwhelming when looking at my busy week. I have already felt and seen so much progress since working with her for only a month now.

Absolute joy of a human being! I look forward to seeing her every week. To have the ability to see, out loud, a person who has felt unseen for so long, is a gift she willingly carries. She is, without a doubt, just awesome!

Work with me!
