Welcome teens! I want you to know I am so glad you reached out for help, that is very courageous and wise. The willingness and desire to do something different is fundamental to growing. Looking back on my teenage years I now see clearly if I had reached out for help during that critical time, if I had connected with an experienced guide, I would have had an early start on discovering how and where to grow.
I was lost. I knew I felt something, but didn’t know what, or what to do about it. I didn’t know what I could do but keep trying harder with what I thought would make me happy. My go-to was, “I’m fine, just leave me alone.” You are right to hope that things can change and will get better. This is work we can’t do alone and the results are not instantaneous, though with effort and a little faith I’m sure you will discover the answers you seek.
There is not really a typical problem. I treat people, not a diagnosis! This is about you.
Mine is a client-centered approach, emphasizing strengths-based and goal-focused therapies. My role is in providing a safe space for you to explore what you are experiencing. Everyone’s journey is different. We will explore strategies together finding out what works for you. This may require a little thinking outside the box, using your innate creativity to learn about yourself.
Here is a little information about me. I graduated in 2009 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. What I learned in a variety of therapy jobs since then is that those who seek out or are forced to get help are people who just want to be happy. Before social work, I was a street photographer and editor in television news. The most compelling stories were of people struggling, in all walks of life, to be happy. Helping to change the world through storytelling inspired me to help change the world one person’s story at a time.
Now is our opportunity to use the present moment to grow and introduce you to a stranger, the real you. Come on in and we’ll swap stories, let me know what’s going on with you.

Phil has been wonderful. If I could afford it I would absolutely keep seeing him. Hopefully I will be able to soon
Phil is cheerful, supportive, and offers great insight into my life and my needs. I owe Phil a lot for helping me to understand myself, but also for being patient with me. Whenever something comes up Phil is happy to reschedule, and will do whatever it takes to make sure he is able to do a session, even if he's in the middle of traveling!
Philip is great at understanding the dynamics in relationships and showing areas of accountability, such as what changes each person can make to bring peace.
Philip, is someone that listens to you without judgment, gives you courage and makes you believe in yourself.
Phillip has been very attentive and interested in helping me to address some of my immediate concerns that are happening right now in my life.
Very wise and very helpful
Phil has been a great source of comfort for my partner and I. Just knowing we have someone to talk to, gives us tools, and put things in perspective has helped tremendously in our relationship. I thought therapy was going to be a boring bummer but it has become this hour that just feels necessary in a pandemic age, we get to lay out any issues or emotional concerns on the table, not ignore them, and sort them out. It's great, we already recommend teen counseling to friends and family.
Phil has been very helpful in everything that has been going on in my life and has provided great feedback to help me with dealing with the specific issues going on in my life. I recommend Phil 100% to anyone looking for a counselor or help with difficult situations.
Philip is an amazing counsellor that over time allowed me to relax and put myself and my life at ease, while bit by bit tackling internal issues in a sense that did not stigmatise them, but rather make anything seem a lot more approachable and resolvable step by step.
Phil's been incredible. His attitude and views are working perfectly for my fiance and I. Wouldn't be where we are without him.
Great counselor, patiently listens to your needs and helps you see from a new perspective to gain more knowledge of what you can do to aid you in the future. 10/10 would recommend.
I’ve had a few sessions with Philip now. He’s very easy to talk to and has helped me to process my emotions in different and better ways. I recommended teen counseling to a friend based on my positive experience with Philip
Phil is great! I come from a middle eastern background and I was surprised to find out that he is aware of the middle eastern history. He is a great listener and is good at giving advice.
I've only been working with Phil for 3 weeks but so far I really have been able to attach to the concepts he's introduced. He does a great job of helping apply it to you specifically.
Phillip really listens to your problems and makes you feel heard. He allows me to see my emotions from a different angle and it’s amazing!!! Highly recommend
This is the first time I’ve ever done video counselling but Philip made it feel so easy. He’s been helpful & insightful & really helped me find a better place in my own mind. For this I am very grateful.
Philip is really helps, I trust him, he helps me to overcome my fears, and support me.
Phil is great to talk to and he is really good about following up as well. He has creative solutions and recommendations. I highly recommend him!
Phil is great. Highly recommend.
Phil is a man of God. Enough said.
