About Me

Hey, I would like to introduce myself, I am Philip and have a lot of experience with young people. My life before counseling was the life of a teacher school administrator. I worked as a school counselor and now enjoy addressing the needs younger people bring to a session. I always approach counseling from a developmental approach I possess a practiced knowledge of the development stages of young people. Brain development is key to understanding anyone but absolutely vital in working with children and teens.
I am looking forward to working with people who have such a bright future and being a part of that is really exciting.
See you soon,

Philip

My daughter imploded during her first semester at college The pandemic threw challenges that complicated the normal college stresses- living in isolation, virtual classes. After unsuccessfully searching for in-person counseling, we finally found teen counseling and Mr. Nicholas. With his counseling and support, she was able to do a 180, bringing up her grades and teen counselinging a more positive outlook. We’ll be forever grateful.

Philip cares deeply about his clients. He wishes to see nothing but their growth. In his words he is "just a stepping stone" for us to use to live better lived, to improve ourselves. I appreciate him he set a goal for me that I was a bit hesitant to do. I just completed it and am grateful that he set the goal for me.

My husband and I absolutely love Philip and our time together. We get a friend who listens to us, encourages us, prays with us and hold us accountable to do better. We love having Philip's support as we navigate thru marital issues and we either get validation that we are doing the right things and we get encouragement to continue or we get encouragement and solutions for a better way of navigating our marriage. It's a win-win for us. The biggest advantage we love about spending time in counseling with Philip is having a safe place to discuss deeper issues that we may not feel comfortable exploring on our own. We are extremely grateful to Philip and the work and time he's giving us while strengthening our marriage.
