About me

As a licensed therapist of more than thirty years, I have the experience, expertise and training to work with couples, families and teens on a variety of complex issues. I provide a safe therapeutic environment of confidentiality which builds trust, openness and understanding. Clients who engage in the counseling process discover a new energy for life and relationships. This results in positive change and increased self-awareness. My work with teens is an area of expertise for me, both with families and with teens individually.
I’m actively involved in the sessions, giving sound guidance and counsel, asking clarifying questions, making observations and sharing my opinion. Teens feel comfortable working with me.
I’m also a certified therapist for anger management/domestic violence. I’ve done this work for twelve years. I integrate this experience in my counseling process. Teens often have anger issues that need to be addressed.

Dr Fisher has helped me tremendously. He is a caring and considerate voice of guidence and also stern enough to push me in the right direction, even when I don't want to go there. I am greatfull for his council

After trying a few different counselors, I found Dr. Fisher. My husband and I have been working with Dr. Fisher for a year now and are in a completely different place from when we started. Although we've worked through all of our major upsets and I feel we could safely discontinue counseling, we have elected to continue because we appreciate the week to week accountability and reality check-ins on the small inevitable bumps in the road, and extra perspective while navigating major life changes.

Dr. Fisher has been very helpful and supportive since day one. He always listens attentively and asks good questions that help me break certain patterns. I also appreciate his positivity a lot. Grateful to have him as my therapist.

Dr. Fisher has been instrumental in helping me dig my way out of a depression episode. He has helped guide me through a difficult relationship with my mother and has given me the tools to feel like I can really control my own space, emotionally and physically. For the first time in a long time I feel like I'm on a healthy path.

Paul is very knowledgeable and is very good to work with. He sees things/situations through and finds the root cause for whatever you’re experiencing and I love that about our sessions.

Dr. Fisher is kind, but can offer a no b-s perspective if you want. He is able to see things from a professional standpoint but is also personable. He knows a lot about relationships and has helped ours tremendously. He doesn't take sides and offers non-biased advice. We both walk away feeling heard and optimistic. He breaks down goals into actionable steps that we can take and with those, we have been able to see results. He's great!

I’ve said before that Dr. Fisher has been a tremendous help to my world. I have made a lot of improvements in a relatively short amount of time. He listens well and responds with thoughtful, meaningful input. I am extremely grateful to have him as my therapist.

Dr. Fisher has been extremely kind and patient and helpful for my girlfriend and I. He listens well, and offers a lot of constructive things for us to work and focus on. He is very good at suggesting ways for us to reframe our negative patterns of thinking and acting, helping us refocus on what is important, our self-love and love for each other. Working with him has really helped us get better at supporting, appreciating and listening to each other, while working through conflicts in a more constructive manner. We highly recommend him as a counselor!

Dr. Fisher has been really helpful to have as an ongoing sounding board but also provides a different perspective to help me move forward in my life. I had enjoyed every session we have had and feel with his help I am moving closer to my personal mental and emotional goals.

Work with me!
