I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 3 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. The issues I have worked with include addiction and recovery counseling, anger management, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome), depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, grief and loss, career challenges, LGBT, relationship issues just to name a few.
My counseling style is warm, empathetic and direct. My approach to counseling combines different theories and styles and so is eclectic. Some of the styles I incorporate include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, rational-emotive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and motivational interviewing, but I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
Teenage years can sometimes be overwhelming when having to balance the obligations of school and maintaining a social life. It's also an important time of development as one explores more of their identity, what their passions are, and what unique qualities they have and embody that contributes to their overall growth. Sometimes having the support of one's parents, friends, and community is enough, and sometimes we need to explore things in a confidential setting with someone that can listen and guide us to process and find solutions. My goal is to help you navigate through adolescence as successfully as possible finding the confidence to believe in your ability to grow and mature in these areas your are finding difficult to handle.

Pam is a great clinician. My fiancé and myself feel comfortable with her and know we are in great hands. Pam has allowed us to become a stronger couple by allowing us to find it in ourselves.
