Molly Asbury

About Me

Hi, I'm Molly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with 10 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse services to adolescents and their families.

I believe it is often our past experiences that make-up our present and it influences our future. Through these experiences, we fashion our own individual stories. I strive to help individuals freely and openly unpack throughout the therapeutic process. I look to help each individual experience growth in their present and seek hope for their future. I use person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and a psychodynamic perspective to fit each client’s individual needs.

I have worked in various settings with adolescents and at-risk youth. I have provided individual and group counseling in Foster Care group homes, Juvenile Justice Programs and more. My goal is to provide services which enable children and families to realize their full potential.

Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, substance use, family conflict, anger, conduct disorders, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and emotion regulation.

I look forward to working with you!

Molly has been great to work with thus far! We feel she has gotten to know us individually to better assess our concerns in bettering our relationship. She listens, understands and gives great advice. She is upfront and honest and most importantly passionate and truly cares about what she does. We highly recommend Molly!

Molly is awesome! The therapist is the most important part of however therapy is offered. She gets me, she gets us as a couple and my husband has said he feels the same way.
