About Me

Hello, I am a bi-lingual bi-cultural marriage and family therapist licensed in California for over 10 years. My primary focus has been on family custody issues and divorce. I have experience with child custody and visitation, domestic violence, court ordered therapy, reunification therapy, parental alienation, depression, anger management, and family matters in general. I have many years of experience working with teenagers who are struggling with problems at home and at school. It can feel very lonely sometimes when you feel like you don't have anyone to talk to. I am here to listen to you and to help you feel better.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, Interpersonal, humanistic, psychodynamic , and dialectical behavioral therapy. I will offer you a safe place to talk about your concerns and we will work together to find meaningful solutions. It would be my pleasure to meet you and help you find solutions which ultimately lead you to a happier and healthier life.

Michelle is great! Honestly, it feels like I am catching up with an old friend when we have our therapy sessions. She makes me feel very comfortable and it is easy to talk to her. I hope to continue working with her.

Michelle is incredible. The first session that I met her I knew that she would be a good fit. She is very calm, patient, and thoughtful in her approach. I appreciate that she doesn’t make it feel like a therapy call, but a conversation between a trusted friend. She has given me a new found confidence in dealing with conflict and my interpersonal relationships. Highly recommend her.

Definitely I felt understood and heard. And most importantly for me. The therapy was in my mother language which was crucial for me to express my thoughts.Because even when I can write and speak English for me it’s better to express my deepest concerns in Spanish . And the Therapist showed a great level of professionalism and empathy in my language.
