Good day and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael H. Feldler, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a trained individual, family, group, trauma, and addiction/process specialist. I have over thirty-four years of experience working with children, adults, and family's in a variety of settings. In addition to my clinical training, I have for the past fourteen years worked as a supervisor in a college-based mental health clinic. Additionally, I am an experienced clinician/therapist working with children and families in acute distress or at risk. I have clinical experience and training working with trauma, suicide assessment, and process addiction, and codependency relationships. I am skilled in psychodynamic, client-centered, a variety of behavioral treatment modalities, interrelation, motivational, and family modalities. I believe in the importance of listening to what is being said, recognizing the relevance of motivation towards healing, and providing a safe and secure space to relate both thoughts and feelings. Often times what brings you into treatment or therapy is just the tip of the iceberg and with exploration we can work on both the direct causes as well as the underlying measures towards health and personal growth. The essence of life is to feel complete, reduce loneliness, and isolation, and ultimately minimize those influences that prevent us from being "the person(s) we want to be." I look forward to hearing from you, establishing a positive and secure relationship and working on what brings you to a helping environment.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Prof. Michael Feldler. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Professor Feldler is extremely in tune with his expertise and not only provides a neutral third-party view but finds the little things that make a person tick and becomes someone you feel comfortable to reach out to. I’ve been to therapy multiple different times and this is the one time I feel I can and WANT to continue. Highly recommend.
Prof. Feldler was outstanding to work with! He truly listened without judgement and suggested reasonable solutions for our family. He was very helpful working with our teen and scheduled within our timeframes needed. He was very respectful towards our teen even during her trying times! Thank you for all your support. We truly appreciate you.
As sad as I am that our time abruptly came to an end I wouldn’t be where I am today with out Mike’s Guidance and understanding. He’s been with me through some very intense periods of my life and helped me not only build the skills I needed to succeed but also the confidence to be me in all areas of my trauma. I hope when things are financially easier I can return
Dr Fielder is an insanely good therapist. A highly trained psychologist with an amazing insight and a very warm and kind way of interacting with his clients. He’s a rare gem and I am grateful I found him.
I feel completely at ease with Dr. Feldler. I am confident in his expertise and he listens to me with no judgment or criticism. I’m blessed to have found him.

Prof Fiedler understood my issues right away, went great length to gather all details and provide the most useful advice. I am a changed person now and I'm very glad that I got to work with Michael
Prof. Feldler is amazing best therapist I’ve ever had. Truly listens and makes you feel seen & heard
Great therapist. He will be able to identify issues and work with you to find the best solution(s). Highly recommend.
Prof. Feldler has made a profound impact on my personal development and ability to cope with obstacles in life. I am always surprised by his ability to encourage me to rediscover myself in every session. He has become a friend, a close confidante, and a trusted counselor within a few sessions. I look forward to our sessions every week/month.
Prof Felder is great! Knowledgeable, insightful, patient and a wonderful sense of humor.
It's amazing what he remembers. Either he takes great notes, or his memory is incredible. He listens and tries to get me to think about what I can do to help myself without him telling me outright. But, after a little bit of me struggling and giggling oddly, he will explain why I do what I do.
In the few weeks of knowing Prof. Feldler he is the only therapist I've known that has actually gotten me to think outside the box, to really get into the roots of what's causing a lot of my anxiety and depression. I'm still learning everyday but very thankful that he gave me another way to look at things.
