I'm a licensed therapist in the state of Illinois. I have been in the field for 13 years working together with young people to better their lives. I've been honored to work with many different young people going through many different things. My clients have presented with issues such as: Depression; Anxiety/OCD; Addiction; Trauma and Abuse; Eating Disorders; Self-Injury: Bi-Polar; life transitions and many more more.
I would describe myself as an interactive therapist one who is engaged in the therapeutic process. I will play an active role in the therapy process. I would be described as a Cognitive Behavioral therapist. That means that we will review your past and present and consider how they have shaped your current patterns. Psychology Today said " Evidence has mounted that CBT can benefit numerous conditions, such as major depressive disorder, anxietydisorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and many others. Research also indicates that CBT can be delivered effectively online, in addition to face-to-face therapy sessions."
I look forward to getting to know you and work with you!

Dr Hayes is the best couples councilor I have had! We can relate to her and be open about our problems! Our relationship has greatly improved since we have had her. We talk to one another better and have an overall wonderful experience working with Dr Hayes.
Dr. Hayes has HONESTLY changed my life. In the year I have been talking to her I grew so much as a person and have felt constantly calm knowing that at any moment I can contact her and she will respond! She has given me so much amazing advice and in general just a great freind to have during the many tough times I have had in my life. I don't know what I would do without her....
Dr. Hayes is a very kind person. She's non judgmental and is always willing to listen. She helps her patients see other side of a problem or other solutions. She's truly a gem!
Dr. Hayes has been nothing but supportive and understanding of my personal situations and struggles. She validates me and my worries but also helps me focus on other things. She has never made me feel unreasonable or unimportant. She had really been helpful.
It’s a bit early to review as we just got started. Still, she has proven to be willing to take on the challenge and seemingly enjoys what she does, extending her services beyond the expectations demanded by her wage. I am optimistic.
Dr. Hayes really listens to us it’s time to understand what’s happening from both of our perspectives. She gives excellent advice and backs it up with worksheets and activities we can do on our own. We have been very fortunate to have Dr. Hayes as our counselor and highly recommend her to any couples working through differences and difficulties, or even for healthy couples who want to be even better!
Though I’m on the other side of the world, I find Dr Hayes more accessible than someone local to me. I feel she has become to know when I’m not in a great space as she reaches out to me regularly until I respond. For me, I find that very supportive. She has given me some great tips to help me balance my busy career with my personal dramas. I have recommended teen counseling and Dr Hayes to many people.
She gets me! I really like speaking with her and listening to her help and feedback.
She's an excellent listener and provides excellent feedback when necessary.
