About me
Hello, I’m glad you’re here!
My name is Melissa Brady, and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 11 years of counseling experience. I love working with children, adolescents, and families to address a wide range of concerns including trauma, abuse and neglect, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues and adjustment to life changes.
My work in child advocacy, school, residential and primary care settings has shaped my relatable and conversational approach. My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational, trauma-focused, and client-centered perspectives. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and enjoy supporting clients and families in their healing process.
It is important to me that you feel welcomed, supported, and understood. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and we will work together to tailor treatment to your unique strengths, needs, and areas of concern.
Thank you for your interest in working with me to build a happier and healthier life. I am so honored to be on this journey with you!

Melissa is an exceptional therapist who is both compassionate and direct in a way that is incredibly helpful. She goes beyond listening by offering practical problem-solving techniques and clear guidance that you can apply in real life. Her honest, supportive approach has made a meaningful difference for me, and I highly recommend her.
My daughter loved working with Melissa immediately. She seems like a great fit. Great communication with me, as the parent, as well which I appreciate.
Melissa is an amazing therapist. She’s helped me so much.
Melissa listens, encourages and digs in. She isn’t afraid to ask tough questions or hold me accountable, but she does it without making me defensive
Melissa is great. She responds even when she is away. She listens and asks thought provoking questions. My life has been better since starting teen counseling and Melissa has been a large part of that.
Melissa is amazing. She is attentive, supportive, and very responsive. I highly recommend her.
As always, I APPRECIATE Melissa from my core. Her perspective and ability to assist me in tough times is greatly appreciated and she is not judgemental and I love that for us...20/10...yes I said 20
Melissa has been absolutely amazing in my mental health journey. She has always listened to my concerns whether I was crying, laughing, or swearing during my rants. She truly lets me vent and get everything out. She knows when to offer advice and when to just listen. She is an absolute rockstar and I could not ask for a better councilor than her.
I feel grateful to have been paired with Melissa. During our sessions, I felt heard, validated and always had something I could work towards. I benefited from her kindhearted and upstanding response to my journal entries. I have noticed a considerable improvement in my relationships and thoughts since starting.
Thank you for equipping me with the tools I can use at every stage of my life.
