About Me

Hi Everyone,
My name is Mary Lynn Widseth and have 7 years of experience working with kids who ranged in age from 7 to 18 years old. Personally, I believe the hardest issue facing teens is finding acceptance of themselves by those around them and within themselves. We place value on what our friends like or don't like about ourselves then bring that into our description of ourselves. Rather than help define what we believe about ourselves, let me help you develop the tools to define what your beliefs are, have boundaries regarding how others treat you, and learn who the true you are.

Thus far, Mary Widseth has been phenomenal in her work with my daughter. I would highly recommend her.

Mary is receptive to feedback. Helps find resources requested. Sometimes gives advice that hasn't been asked for or sidetracks the conversation. Over all very kind, compassionate and encouraging

Mary is an excellent counselor. She's a great listener and does a fabulous job reflecting and elaborating on your own observations. Our work with Mary has vastly improved our communication as a couple, in areas we didn't even realize needed attention.

Mary seems great - I simply feel like I've thrown a note her way and she's let me know the lifeline is available when I'm ready, but we really haven't had much chance to connect (yet). I appreciate her continued efforts, I promise! :)

Mary has been wonderful to work with. She has helped me process some big decisions and has been very responsive and attentive. I am just getting started but so far things are going great.
