About me

My skills as a psychotherapist of over 25 years combines a solid history in the healing arts as well as the performing arts. My experience in agency work has focused on treatment with many young people from the age of 13 through 19 as they approach the vicissitudes of puberty and adolescence. I have a genuine passion for that age span and feel that I have been able to quickly form a strong therapeutic alliance. I also have a history of supervising many therapists who have focused on work with children and adolescents. The many issues a young person faces can shake their foundation. Therapy is essential in addressing the residuals of PTSD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm behaviors, adjusting to changes in family dynamics and so many other issues. I work collaboratively with my young clients to help them navigate through life's transitions, resolve numerous issues and achieve goals to create change.

Margaret is wonderful! I very much look forward to our sessions and I often walk away laughing and jubilant! Not only is she a great listener, but she asks important questions and offers great advice. She has been an absolute boon in my times of need. And while I’ve made a lot of personal progress with her help, I’ve also had a lot of fun with her. A very enjoyable person :)
