I am licensed in Texas with 22 years of professional work experience. I also, am a retired educator who taught & coached for several years, as well as served as a high school counselor. I have experience in helping teens with stress, anxiety, coping with grief, coping with loss, family issues, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Lori is the second therapist my teen has paired with on teen counseling. We both are really grateful for the pairing. My teen feels comfortable with Lori and says that each session is more helpful than her experience with her previous therapist. I have really appreciated that Lori is great about communicating with us as parents. She lets us know when they have sessions, and gives therapy updates to the degree that our teen grants permission. I wish we had paired with her from the start! She really understands the balance that therapy needs to be when working with an adolescent!
