Hello! Over the last 9 years, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings. My stance on life and in therapy is taken from Robert Frost’s quote, “The best way out is always through”. I consider it a privilege to join others in their therapeutic journey and find that a collaborative approach within the therapeutic relationship is empowering, refreshing, and conducive to healing.
During my undergrad years, I gained experience working with elementary-aged children who experienced both behavioral and autistic spectrum disorders. I also participated in research studies that focused heavily on the motivational effects of gains and losses specifically in their correlation to self-control and addiction.
Afterwards, as I obtained my master’s degree, I worked with substance abuse and domestic violence, where I worked with children experiencing abandonment, trauma, and difficulties adjusting with home and environmental changes and sought to build communication skills, life skills, and promoting individualistic and family growth. This experience was a pivotal point where I wanted to work directly with adolescents and children as I believe they are our future. Over the last 7 years, I have worked amongst residential treatment programs for both adolescent males and females experiencing mental health issues, experiencing a variety of disorders: Conduct Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, PTSD, Adoption and Reactive Attachment Disorders, Substance Abuse, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders.
I look forward to assisting young adolescents and children discover their inherent potential, securing healthy relationships with their families, and solidifying their heightened confidence as they write their future!
In and out of therapy, I believe in breaking down barriers to build authenticity. So a bit about me: I am half Filipino and Caucasian, love spending time with my family and our ever energetic chocolate lab, traveling, and enjoying a good Netflix binge.

Lisa is amazing!
So far my husband and I have loved Lisa!
Caring and compassionate. I was nervous as first talking to a stranger I’ve never met before but as you video chat further, you become more comfortable and Lisa has helped me feel comfortable reaching out for help
In the past month, Lisa has significantly helped me become a better person. Finding someone who I connect with and can open up with has been a huge struggle for me and I finally feel as though I am being heard and someone WANTS to help me. I would highly recommend Lisa to friends and family and I hope she helps many others as much as she has helped me in this short period of time so far!
Lisa has been great! She is super responsive and helpful. I am enjoying our work together.
I picked Lisa through a list of profiles because the counsellor that the app matched me with did not work for me at all. So far I feel very heard and have received amazing resources to help me make sense of my trauma processing. She is very thorough and skillful!
Lisa Jones was such a wonderful find at a time I needed her most. She has been attentive, responsive, supportive and professional, guiding me several concerns that I had. I am confident in the tools she’s shared with me and look forward to our sessions.
Lisa Jone very capable understanding and listening, she is always respond to my child questions I have confidence with her
