About me
Life can be difficult, and everyone deserves to have someone to listen and support them. Whether your are struggling as a parent or watching your teenager face challenges, I am here to listen, offer encouragement, help facilitate open communication within your family, and even push you to get you past difficult obstacles families face. Unfortunately, I don't have a magic wand or a quick-fix. However, I am ready and willing to help teens and their families when they feel ready to make some changes in life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Oklahoma. I have 8 years of experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, non-profits, and schools. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout the course of my career through both individual and group counseling. My approach is based on Solution-Focused techniques that help to work through issues with an end goal in mind while focusing on the strengths my clients already possess. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral techniques that focus on identifying and improving the negative thinking that sometimes prevents people from moving forward.

I have a particular interest in helping to build self-confidence and self-esteem. However, I enjoy working with all types of clients who are experiencing any types of issues. I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with your family!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kimberly Fleischer. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
I was completely new to therapy so I was really confused and nervous and just not able to word things as I should, thankfully Kimberly F was patient and sweet along the way.

We really are learning a lot from her
She’s a wonderful asset. She has helped my son deal with his stuff. She responds quickly and her responses are thoughtful. I recommend her and this service.
Kimberly was amazing and helped me incredibly with problems I had. I highly recommend her! She is very attentive and understanding. Best counselor I’ve had!
Very helpful and has provided new insights for me that other counselors haven’t that have already helped my day to day life.
