Hello my name is Kimberly S. Roberts, LMSW. I've worked as a social worker/Therapist in many capacities for 34 years. I was born and raised in and lived there until I moved to Colorado in 2017. I graduated with my masters degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010. It was then I began working as a LMSW in emergency departments which I continue to do. I received my LCSW certification in 2/2021 and began my journey as a Therapist shortly thereafter.
With 34 years of experience as a social worker I have developed strengths I use in private practice:
•mental illness/dual diagnosis
I believe in a client centered strength focused approach when working with teenagers and their families. Having raised two children I understand this is a unique time for all. I believe empathy and compassion are essential when working toward client goals.
I am a mother of two. I live in Estes Park, CO where I am able to fully indulge myself in all of my favorite hobbies such as hiking, sledding, biking, walking and jogging. I have a love for animals and the outdoors. I have a 10 year old English lab named Cooper who keeps me on my toes.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and know that together anything is possible.
Thank you for choosing me!!

I started teencounseling.com with Kimberley Roberts. She helped me through a lot, helping me cope and see the brighter side of the coin. I would continue my sessions with her if this subscription wasn’t so expensive to have for a server.
Very helpful, informative and supportive lady. Would recommend to anyone in need!
Kimberly is amazing!
Kim is very helpful in breaking down things in small parts until you get to the heart of the matter. She is also personable and breaks down the stereotype of a cold, unapproachable therapist. It makes it much easier to have a natural conversation. I really appreciate that approach and her ability to create a warm, safe place.
Kimberly has made me feel like I can get better I felt so hopeless before. She is wonderful and is thoughtful when considering what I need.
She is very friendly very experienced and very kind it’s only my second session so I don’t know a lot

Kimberly has been so compassionate and understanding while offering attainable coping skills and being patient with my own growth and process. She definitely exceeded any hopes or expectations I had when starting therapy and I think she has been a perfect fit for my needs and issues.
In a short time, Kimberely has helped me significantly. Kimberely helped me recognize circumstances in my situation that helped me process. In just one hour I felt better and began to look at things differently.
