About me

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Independent Practitioner/Clinical Social Worker in Nebraska. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ+ related issues, teen counseling to focus on emotional regulation, social skills training, and developing coping skills. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. For teens, the first session will be with parent/guardian and teen to discuss goals of treatment and consent. Then a second meeting with teen individually, allowing the family unit to discuss terms of treatment and goals.

My teenager has been seeing Kary for a few months. My teenager fully trust her with everything which is so nice to know. It is hard for some teenagers to feel vulnerable to new people but mine took to Kary right away! The things my teenager shares with me says Kary is extremely knowledgeable and follows through with her words. I know this school year is going to be tough but with Kary I know it will be better than without. I appreciate her supporting my teeneager!
