About Me

Thank you for viewing my page. If you are here that means that either you or your child is ready to participate in the therapeutic process. If you are a parent looking for help for their child, I have experience over the past 25 years working with children of various ages. In addition to being a counselor I have been a behavior analyst over the past 20 years specializing in behavior modification and working with children and adolescents that are struggling with a variety of mental health difficulties or behavior modification needs.
I am a licensed counselor and behavior analyst in Pennsylvania. I have experience with a variety of concerns including depression, mood disorders, developmental disabilities, anxiety, parenting problems, OCD, and ADHD.
My counseling approach is client centered and I strive to meet each person "where they are" and help them as they work through periods of change and self-discovery. I also use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy during sessions. My experience as a behavior analyst allows me to help with behavior modification strategies as well.

My education credential include:
Licensed Professional Counselor-Pennsylvania
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Slippery Rock University - MA in Counseling

I continue to complete various continuing education hours in order to remain up to date on the most current treatment modalities and supplement my training with reading and attending conferences. I also remain up to date on the most recent legal and ethical guidelines.

I believe in working as a team to process whatever you may need to discuss and to facilitate resolution of issues. Together we will develop a treatment plan that is personalized to your personal needs and experiences, with using your strengths to help achieve those goals.

Please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here for you and thank you for trusting me. I look forward to working with you.

Kelly is great! I really like the way she does sessions. She's a great listener, great feedback, really thoughtful, and cares. She is really easy to talk to, really receptive, and sees things from different perspectives that are truly enlightening! Thank you Kelly! I have gotten a lot out of our talks and found a lot of healing.

Kelly is nice and friendly. She is so flexible around the schedule that we can find always a perfect time to talk. She comes to meetings prepared and always sends some practice and homework for us which shows her dedication to work. My wife and I really like here and feel no barrier to share our thoughts and emotions here. We definitely recommend her to others and appreciate teen counseling the opportunity to work with her.

Kelly is incredible at her job. She is extremely professional yet very personable and open during the session. She is a great listener and has made me feel so comfortable during our visits. I look forward to my sessions every week and she is always there for me when I need her. She is always able to bring out the emotions and thoughts in me that I didn't know were there just by taking the time to understand who I really am. I would recommend Kelly to anyone, anytime.

I have only had two sessions so far but I feel it is really helping. Even just having someone to talk to and feeling understood has helped me improve. My counselor is super friendly, and always responds as quickly as she can outside of sessions and provides me with resources to utilize outside of sessions which are helpful. I have also notices she makes an effort to remember things I have said previously. I am very happy with this service.
