About me
You did it! You took the first step to reach out and ask for help. I look forward to the opportunity to walk this journey together. Let me tell you about myself:
I’m a wife, mother to four, and a dog mom! I live in SC but love to travel to see new places and try new things. My favorite place is anywhere with a beach as I love anything involving sunshine and water!
Professionally, I am a Board-Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of South Carolina and have been practicing in the mental health field since 2011. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA. I am currently working on my Doctorate of Psychology and was EMDR trained in 2021.
I am very person-centered in my work with clients as I believe that you know you better than I know you! My practice is solution-focused as I believe in focusing more heavily on the problems you’re experiencing right now and working together to develop effective strategies for improving not only your current symptoms, but also your overall life satisfaction. I often incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at times to help identify problematic thinking and retrain your brain to be more positive! Some other theories I believe in are Positive Psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I have significant expertise in dealing with adolescents and adults (12+) who are experiencing the following: various mental illnesses (including but not limited to Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, other Psychotic Disorders, Depression, Anxiety); difficulty adapting to life situations; relationship issues; stress caused by pressure at work or home; grief and loss; self-esteem issues; other difficulties maintaining life balance. I also have experience with addictions issues and am able to help in those areas. I am skilled in aiding others in developing coping skills, interpersonal skills, independent living skills, stress management, personal empowerment and advocacy, healthy leisure habits, and other important life skills.
It is important to understand that therapy is about you and what you need, so the process is really driven by the client! My role is to facilitate discussion and prompt new ways of thinking in order to inspire fresh perspectives. :)
I have a teen myself and understand the things that are difficult for teens today from firsthand experience as they are facing new challenges all the time. I tend to be a really laid back person and that relates well to teenagers!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kayce Bragg. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
I enjoy having Kayce as my therapist. As a very emotional person, she helps me see the logic in the situations I go through. She gives unbiased advice and it has been so helpful for making improvements.
I feel comfortable talking with Kayce.
Kayce has been so patient and understanding with my child. My child has been very resistant to any type of counseling, but her patience and expertise has allowed my child to slowly develop some trust and not completely shut down. I am very appreciative of her quick response time and willingness to meet my child where they are.
Professional, warm, empathetic, knowledgeable and down to earth. Excellent experience. I connected with her right away.
Kayce is extremely helpful. She offers multiple solutions and tried to find the root cause of any problems.
She is very patient with me, and that’s exactly what I need right now
What can I say about Kayce? She knows her stuff! She is personable and professional. She has great insight and is not afraid to approach sensitive topics. She includes both people in the relationship fairly and isn’t afraid to hold you accountable for your actions. I was leary about doing couples therapy virtually but it has been great!
You are very fortunate if Kayce Bragg as your therapist!
I’ve only had one session with Kaycee and she has helped me see so much about myself and she answers any messages I send to her with wonderful encouragement and positive words which is so nice for me as I don’t receive that very often and she makes me feel better and happier with every message.
She encourages me to think about my situations
Really appreciate her can hardly wait for our next sessiion.
She has been great! She not only wants to hear what I have to say but uses the app in order to make sure we talk more than just a weekly session. It’s nice that she uses it so often, makes you feel like you have someone regardless of what day it is.
I have had many counselors over the years. Kayce is the first one that I have actually connected with and felt comfortable sharing things honestly . She is supremely supportive, has excellent suggestions to help me process things and improve my well being. Worth every penny.
Kaycee is awesome! She is very good at listening and checking in every week.
This has saved my marriage and our communication and understanding of each other has never been better.
Kayce is awesome - I have told several friends how much she has helped me get through tough times and conquer mental struggles (or at least work on them). Sometimes it seems like she knows what my struggle is more than I actually realize it myself. She is kind and human and I am grateful to have her help and expertise!
Responds in a timely manner. I feel better about my current situation and she always listens. She always helps and don't make me feel like my feelings, thoughts, wants and needs are not valid.
Kayce is extremely helpful in her care and is always helping me to see the positives in every situation.
Kayce is an amazing therapist! She listens, offers practical tips and advice and always gives you something to work on for the next session.
So far Mrs. Bragg has been wonderful and a tremendous help. She is helping me get over the troubles I am having and giving me more to think about that could help too. I feel that I am getting a good start to helping me have a better and healthier life with my kids and being a single independent woman again.
Kayce is exactly the type of Therapist I was looking for! She is very understanding and is very accepting. She is very responsive and very knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable talking to her and has been a great fit for me!
Her style was exactly what I was looking for with this app. Very helpful.
Kayce is so supportive. She always knows the questions to ask to help me figure things out. And she makes me feel my feelings, even when I don’t want to.
I really like how she gets back to me quickly. She listens about my life and me ramble ogf
A much needed resource in my time of need and beyond as I focused on staying emotionally healthy.
To keep it short and simple, I feel like she’ll go the extra mile if needed.
Kayce is amazing. I've only been working with her for a couple weeks but I already feel like she is trying her best to work with me and to listen to what I have to say, and to talk about the subjects that are most important to me. I appreciate her and I will continue to work with her because she provides me with good advice and options on possible treatments. I definitely recommend her :)
Kayce Bragg has been a great therapist to work with via teencounseling.com. She is responsive to my questions, gives me good things to think about and has been very helpful in helping me realize what my issues are. I would definitely recommend her as a therapist.
She is phenomenal. Mrs. Bragg listens and responds thoughtfully and provides options to deal with life situations that are useful and credible.
Kayce Bragg helps offer a variety of strategies to change thinking patterns towards a more positive direction
I am still getting to know Kayce but so far she has replied in a timely manor and I am looking forward to mor discussions
Kayce is amazing. She listens and has the best recommendations to our situation.
We have only been working with Kayce for a short time now, but she has been great in helping both sides understand each other and giving our issues real life analogies and advice. I have never had therapy of any kind and can honestly say I am extremely happy to have been matched with Kayce!
Kayce is amazing and really takes her time to help you through some tough times in your life. The time I’ve been with her, I’ve been feeling so much better about some things in my life even though I know we still have a long way to go with my therapy. I definitely recommend her to anyone needing the extra help with your mental health and someone who actually cares about her patients.
Kayce is wonderful to work with. She takes the time to really get to know you to better understand how she can help. She is extremely knowledgeable, understanding , and professional. I always feel welcome, heard, and respected in our sessions. I always feel I can ask her anything to get a better understanding of the therapy process. She is helping me through one of the roughest times of my life. The tools and knowledge obtained through each session is working for me. I am extremely grateful to work with her. I highly recommend her.
Kayce is amazing. Over my two weeks of being with her, she makes my concerns and feelings feel valid, and helps me look at them from a different perspective to help me tackle them. We have a long road before I start feeling okay. But I feel like with Kayce I am on the right path.
I think she is awesome! She seems like a motherly figure or trustworthy family friend figure who really cares and wants to help me fix these things in my life!
Kayce is a wonderful counselor and I think she's the best I've had throughout all my experience in therapy. She has listened to my concerns and helps prompt me towards ways I can alleviate my mental health issues. Overall I've been very satisfied with my experience so far.
She gave us the resources we need to address our problems
She makes me feel like a human being...perfectly imperfect but not a horrible person that a think I am. I appreciate that she’s down 2 earth & is understanding.
Thankful that she is very patient with me. I'm not great at checking in on a daily or weekly basis.
Very caring! Kind and easy to talk with.
I have been speaking with Kayce for a short period but I feel very comfortable opening up to her and have high hopes for building our relationship.
Kayce reaches out to me a few times to check on me and I neglected to respond, but not on purpose. After about the third time that she reached out to me I thought... wow somebody really wants to listen.
Kayce is very understanding and always seems to be engaging in helping me with whatever topic is bothering me.
Kayce is professional but friendly and makes it easy for me to express my feelings and to offer helpful tips to help with my depression. I feel like I can be honest and open about my problems and count on her to keep everything private.
My son really likes her.
Kayce Bragg helped me resolve anxiety issues I was having after some traumatic work events. She helped guide me so that I could find some resolution in a tough situation. She listened well and asked some pointed questions that really helped me evaluate what was going on. Thanks Kayce!
Kayce has been so ENCOURAGING, thorough, helpful, kind, thoughtful, and understanding. She has come alongside me to give me tools to do inner work that is necessary to start living deeper into the woman I want to be...empowered, graceful, calm, respectful, aware, conscientious, and self-differentiated. She is helping learn how to honor my feelings personally, to accept my feelings and yet have the tools I need to not be controlled by my feelings. She takes my concerns seriously and I believe she really has the gift of empathy to connect and relate while opening doors to new perspectives, new ways to think and grow.
She has been kind and extremely helpful to me so far.
Kayce Bragg’s counseling service has been very beneficial for me. I was suffering from severe anxiety and depression and needed someone to start talking to right away. She is a very good listener and always responds in a timely manner. Her counseling helped give me the confidence I needed to proceed with the best possible treatment/therapy for my condition. I think her live session counseling was really helpful for me.
She is kind and supportive and helps advise me on finding my own direction to where I need to be.
Kayce is very respectful, always on time. Knows how to help me with new coping skills. I trust her work.
I gave teencounseling.com a chance before and was matched up with a counselor that I ended up being pretty disappointed with I just felt like we never got on the same page. I'm really happy that I decided to take another chance on this app because being matched up with Kayce has been really great she's been incredibly helpful and puts things in perspective in such a simple way that you almost think you should have thought of it yourself but she really listens and prioritizes and gives you the tools that you need to get better.
For the past month or I've been depressed nervous anxious and have quite a bit of anxiety. But I've been trying to do what my therapist ask me
to think about what's causing it.
For the past week I've been doing this on smartphone
Adult art coloring by numbers and glitter coloring by numbers and all the pictures I've done so far turned out pretty. I like doing things like that. My worker took me too
Store called 5 and Below I got me a few things in there with my Birthday money main thing was a book every page has an activity on it for me to do the it's call the positivity kit, an the front of the book it also says
Happiness on every page, and I've been writing in it.
Tammy
But last night I talked to a Doctor on demand
She increased my abilify from
5mg to 10mg
And called me in some Vistral.
Kayve has been wonderful and she listens to me and doesn't think I AM a complete loser so that does help me out a lot.
Kayce has been kind and understanding in our interactions. She has helped me think through things and given practical advice dealing with my issues. She genuinely cares about my well being.
I appreciate how she is assisting me.
I feel like my needs are met and I’m offered helpful tools and methods to reach my goals.
Kaycee Bragg has been a great resource to have. She really helps you tackle the issues you're dealing with. In the past, I've seen counselors and they only want to focus on childhood issues or war, and she's not like that. She understands those things have shaped you but may not be what you need to talk about to help you get through whatever is going on. She has taught me valuable lessons in gratitude and daily reflection, that have dramatically improved my life in just a few short weeks.
Kayce has helped me get more clarity in my life and become more calm and collected about things. I think she understands my nature pretty well and really taps into that with specific questions considering my special situations.
Kayce is amazing and has helped me through an extremely rough time in my life. I highly recommend her. She is easy to talk to and has an amazing spirit.
Kayce helped me learn to love and appreciate myself and my life in a time where I didn't feel like I could. Her vibrant positivity was infectious, but she balanced it very effectively with a strong ability to listen and take my issues seriously, while providing very helpful solutions and methods to try. She helped me learn how to change my life in ways that I knew would be good for me but was hesitant to try, and to do so in such a way where I could feel like myself and proud of what I was doing and how far I'd come the whole time. Kayce is incredibly caring and very knowledgeable of her craft, and I'm very lucky to be paired with her.
I love how she challenges me and makes me think outside my box so to speak. I am really looking forward to my progress working with her.
Attentive, empathetic and honest. I appreciate how she takes notes and how she’s proactive about improving our therapeutic relationship.
Kayce is a great listener and got to the root of the problem within the first appointment. She sends messages in a timely manner and follows up when I haven’t contacted her back. I also appreciated that she was clear about her availability.
I have been in counseling for a several months now and Ms. Bragg's is helping me open up and see the bigger picture. As someone who is quick to shut down, I am now working on new avenues of accepting things. All because Ms. Braggs listens to me and gives insightful responses to my thoughts. She is great and I appreciate her for what she is helping me find out about myself. Thank you!
Kayce is wonderful, understanding, always patient, and always helpful. I am grateful that I was matched with her to be my counselor.
Kayce is amazing, she is very understanding and supportive, always responds in such a manner that it allows me to grow more from every session.
She has helped me a lot and helped me realize a lot of things and understand them better.
I didn't know I had issues until my fiance told me about it. Now I'm working with Kayce Bragg to find out the problem, she is helping me trying to figure out what is wrong.
Kayce is really great! She listens to my concerns and gets me to look at things from a different, healthier perspective. Just knowing I have someone to talk to about difficult topics helps to give me comfort.
Kayce is completely wonderful in every way. I worked with another counselor for well over a year, and the first counselor never listened to me or provided help in the way that Kayce does. I'm really thankful for her!
Ms. Bragg is helping with a lot. just having her to talk to is making a world of difference for me. She has been so very helpful.
Even when I was quite skeptical about teencounseling.com, having worked face-to-face with a counselor in the past, and I felt really down, Kayce said some very simple yet true things, exactly what I needed to hear. Simply how to rethink my life and take steps to get better.
Kate helped me to understand my own dysfunctional communication patterns and how to improve them. She understands and helped me through a tough time understanding how my past history is impacting my present, and how to cope with it. I'm so glad I found teencounseling.com, being able to work with my counselor when it was convenient also meant my daily work and home routine wasn't disrupted to sit in an office, it was convenient to be able to work on things from the comfort of home...
She is very supportive and gives me new ways to think about my life.
Kayce helped me get through the lowest point in my life. I thank God for leading me to Kayce Bragg through teencounseling.com! I would highly recommend her!
I really appreciated having Kayce as my counselor. I had told her that it was my first experience with a counselor and she treated me with so much respect. She was patient with me, made me think outside the box, pushed me to search myself and to look beyond myself to find answers. She helped me realize that I needed some aspects of my life to change in order to let the blessings in. I am not perfect and I still have some work to do but I definitely see a change in myself after these past few months with the help of Kayce. I am forever grateful for her help and kind and wise advices.Thank you Kayce!
Kayce is wonderful! She’s been helping me talk through a lot of things and is very attentive and kind.
She is fantastic! Kayce is such a good listener but also balances out with good feedback. She feels like family already. She asks good questions that make you think more too. Highly recommend her!
She's doing great so far!
Kayce is an understanding counselor. As a college student that also works part time I can’t always respond to messages right away, and she is very understanding of a busy life!
Kayce is kind, thoughtful and very understanding. Working with her is easy and she knows her stuff!
Kayce helped me through a really tough time in my life. She reminded me that I can't be guilty about taking time for myself and that it'll make me a better mother and wife if I can do that.
Kayce Bragg has been helpful in listening and asking questions that have made me think about things.
She really has given me some sound advice and some guidelines and some things to do instead of say and it made a lot of sense to me.
Although I have only had one session with Kayce so far, I believe she can help me. She contacts me throughout the week to check on me and give me things to think about, like a friend would.
Kayce Bragg is a professional with heart. She truly cares, listens, responds quickly to messages, asks meaningful questions and is helpful. I highly recommend Kayce Bragg because she provides a safe place for talking about feelings, past life experiences and daily events. The best part is the peace and relief of letting the feelings out without judgement.
I am very happy with Kayce Bragg- she makes me feel very comfortable, asks me the right questions and gives me some good advice
Kayce has been there for me helping me find Jesus's light through the toughest situation of my life. I thank her greatly for her kind words & wisdom! Highly recommend!!
I have been working with Kaycee for a couple weeks and it has been very beneficial so far. She is able to help me get to the root of my emotions and I feel much better after sorting out my thoughts and feelings.
Kayce is very supportive, knowledgeable, and positive in her approach as a counselor. She gets right to the point in a very caring way. She is great about staying in touch and making sure I am doing okay. I highly recommend her!
She’s been awesome!! And in a short amount of time I’ve gained a lot of trust and confidence in her. Thank you soooo much for this resource!!!
Kayce is a very kind, caring and wise counselor who is also a wonderful listener and has been giving me great advice regarding the issues I have been discussing with her. She has been very generous with her time as well, and makes me feel that my issues and I truly matter - this means so much to me! I would recommend her as a counselor to anyone, without hesitation.
Kayce was very open minded, she let me explain sensitive issues in detail without judging, this made it easier to go deeper and reveal more, which again made me feel I had made some headway . She let me chose the order I was comfortable with in giving information in order to lead up to the main issue. From her actions, I can only conclude she is a caring, good person in which the world needs more of.
