About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. I initially began in the mental health field working at a children’s inpatient acute care facility while completing my undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. Following my undergraduate degree, I further expanded my work in the mental health field and began my Masters of Social Work program while working as a Behavioral Health Specialist working with children at a community mental health agency. In May 2019, I completed my MSW degree and began my clinical practice. I have spent the past three years as a Mental and Behavioral Health therapist as a school based therapist. I have experience with group, individual, and family therapy and have worked with children ranging in age from 3 to 18 years old. My experience in multiple settings has uniquely equipped me to work with children and families with a variety of problems. I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, eating disorders, relationship challenges, self-esteem, self-harming behavior, and trauma.
I am well versed in several counseling techniques and have a compassionate and approachable demeanor when working with clients. I strongly believe that developing a positive therapeutic relationship is the foundation to a productive client/therapist relationship. I believe in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. I also realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends, etc.), work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process.
I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy, and Psycho-Education for individuals aged 13 and up. My belief is individuals who have the motivation to improve and courage to seek growth through vulnerability and hard work can accomplish all the goals they desire.

She is awesome, easy to talk to while being COMPLETELY honest
Katie is a wonderful therapist and is very easy to talk to. Her feedback is kind and she challenges you to reflect on questions or experiences shared.
Katie is a great therapist. She listens and asks the right questions to learn more about my personality, obstacles, and approach to those obstacles, and offers strategies for gaining the boundaries and emotional resilience that are needed to overcome and rise above. I appreciate her greatly.
Absolutely top notch. She is timely and respectful. My son responds to her advice and feels safe confiding in her. Grateful for her time and understanding.
Katie Graham has been extremely professional and has been communicating well with my child and me (parent). I feel like we're all on the same team and working together towards the same goal, and this has given my child stability and the confidence in her getting better. I'm so grateful that 'teen counseling' exists.
I would definitely recommend Katie. She is a great listener and really understands me. Good advice and personality.
Very kind, helpful, patient, and has great availability!
Katie has been very understanding, listens well, asks the right questions. Has checked in and read my many journal entries shared with her and has given good advice and reflections that have helped me a lot during a difficult time. I'd recommend Katie to anyone.
