About me
Welcome-
I would like to introduce myself- I am Kathleen Gallagher, and am a Licensed Master Level Social Worker in the State of Michigan. I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Eastern Michigan University and my Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. I have been in the field for 26 years. I have spent my career working in a Community Mental Health setting, the majority of that time with children and families. I have worked with children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Severe Emotional Disturbance. I have had extensive training in Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and conflict resolution. I have worked with families to increase their communication and problem solving skills.
I utilize a strength based, family centered approach with children and families I work with. With my extensive experience and training, I can offer children, teenagers and families an excellent therapy option.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kathleen Gallagher . We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Kathleen has helped me work through a number of issues and is helpful and kind.
Kathleen is very understanding and really helps me to communicate effectively.
Kathleen has been good for my daughter to talk to. I am thankful for her to give my daughter someone elses perspective other than her parents. Thank you.
