About me
Being a teenager is not easy. You are trying to grow up, develop your independence, and figure out what you are going to stand for while you are still expected to respect the rules of parents and school authorities. My goal when counseling teens is to be that person who will listen without judging, act as a sounding board without needing to try to sway you in one direction or other, and really hear you and accept you when you declare who you are. Trusting someone you do not know is never easy, but if you choose to work with me we will start slow and build trust over time — you never have to talk about anything you’re not ready to share. From experience, though, it can be so nice to have someone who will listen.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kathleen Camp. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Kathleen has been great with my teenage son. He really enjoys working with her and says that he is getting a lot of our their sessions together. She is very good at responding to communication as well!
Kathleen has been an incredible counselor. She's helped me process my breakup and has been helping me through this pandemic. She's been such a Godsend.
I have been very happy with my sessions. Kathleen helps me see past my present frustrations to look at possible solutions, but not before she validates my feelings and gives me the emotional support I need.
