My name is Karie Bliss and I have over 15 years of therapy experience in many different areas. I have worked in New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida, learning many things and new ways of providing therapy as well as establishing my own eclectic style. I have much experience in mindfulness and yoga practices, have been trained in Adlerian styles as well as trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have traveled overseas so have learned from other practitioners around the world to make my practice more culturally sound and affluent. I am currently licensed in the state of Florida, and am seeking licensure in other states. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I have experience working with teens and young persons through life changes, trauma, self-harm, ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem and body issues, panic and phobias, divorce, parenting, and peer-related issues. My counseling style is
warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that first step, I am here to support and empower you along your journey. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I wish to bring a sense of peace to your inner being and help you along in your life's path. I look forward to working with you!
