I have worked in many different settings with several different populations. I have worked with offenders through DFS and prison/parole operations, substance abuse facilities, mental health, facilities, and co-occurring facilities addressing. I have been through some tough life changes and things have not always gone the way that I have hoped. These experiences have allowed me to grow as a person and a counselor because it has given me some insight to the emotions that clients face on a daily basis, It has allowed me to show more empathy for the client and their situation without them feeling that they are being judged.

Joel Soucie has been of great help to me. I came to him completely overwhelmed and he has managed to talk me through several tough decisions and help me find ways to better manage my stress levels. He is able to help me see things from another perspective and that is exactly what I need when feeling overwhelmed and frustrated.
So far only three weeks in, I’ve been very happy with Joel as my daughters counselor. He actually counsels! Which is more than most in person therapists or counselors. He offers a non judge mental platform for my daughter to speak, and always provides worksheets and/or literature to keep her engaged throughout the week.
I felt comfortable w/Joel right away. 3 weeks in problems identified;
solution in view. Thanks Joel Soucie
Joel is awesome. Always makes sure we hit all of my concerns during session and helps me to see all sides of things. I always see my end goals on my own but he makes it easier to get from point A to B.
I had a session and he was a good counselor.
