About me
Welcome. I know how difficult it is to seek mental health assistance, and am so grateful that you were able to recognize your need for professional health. This shows a level of awareness that many never acknowledge. I hope I am able to assist you in obtaining the kind of life you are seeking by working through the issues you are currently experiencing.
I have been working in the Mental Health field since I graduated with my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2006. I graduated from The University of Texas-Pan American, which is now The University of Texas-RGV. I have worked with a diverse population. I have worked with teenagers for many years, covering various topics, including, depression, anxiety, social skills, life transitions, sexuality, and many more. I like to develop a positive relationship with parents as well as their children, as they are the most influential people in a teenager's life. I understand what it is like to experience mental health issues, including, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. I also understand what it feels like to be a client in the therapeutic relationship. I work well with individuals experiencing depression and/or anxiety but welcome any and all issues as they develop. I work hard to help build the therapeutic relationship and foster trust and caring, as these are the building blocks of any relationship.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jodi Morley. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Jodi helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I was nervous and unsure about starting online therapy, but decided to give it a try. Upon my first meeting with Jodi, I knew I was in good hands. I felt like I had someone dependable to talk to, who always listened, cared, and held my hand through all my ups and downs. She was completely non-judgmental, kind. Perhaps her best trait is her genuineness, I always felt like I was receiving genuine care, and speaking with another real person. Jodi is a gem.
Jodi has been helping me a lot. She listens and understands what I’m trying to fix and helps me find ways to do that.
Jodi is a very understanding person. I really appreciate the way she listens and responds. She helps me to get to know myself better and understand why I sometimes feel and function like I do. I’m very happy to have Jodi as a therapist.
Jodi is extremely professional in the way she is able to gain the trust of her patients, while in turn offering the parent a piece of mind without jeopardizing the relationships of either party. We absolutely love her!
Jodi is incredibly kind, understanding and knowledgeable. She lets me take the lead in each session which allows us to work through whatever is most troubling me each week which I find very helpful. Her advice is always so helpful - she has been especially good at pushing me to challenge my negative thinking patterns and be kinder to myself. I’ve never felt this comfortable with a therapist before and I feel like I’m making a lot of progress in bettering my mental health. I hope to keep working with Jodi for the foreseeable and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate counsellor who will support you gently through whatever you’re struggling with in whatever way works best for you.
Jodi helped me work through some harsh depressive times. I particularly liked her responsiveness and flexible methods. She was kind when I was feeling low and it felt good to have someone I can reach out to when I couldn't do much with my day.
