About me

I have worked with teens in both a school setting as well as an office setting. I always take the approach that a check-in about the day or the week is the most important since stressful situations often occur throughout the week. My therapy engagement style is to be an active listener, engaged, respectful of your self-autonomy, open and warmhearted.

I combine my knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy to build positive coping skills and bring out the person that you want to be.

I have experience with teens in working through stress, anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem and confidence, self-expression as well as working to help them understand relationships and pinpoint their own roles within relationships.

I want to hear your story and take what you already know about yourself and add to it and help you find the positive strengths to influence your outlook on life and your own self-image. My job is to be a guide in being the one to help those qualities within you surface and finding ways to overcome obstacles, from trauma to self-doubt.
