Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a School Counselor. I have worked as a Middle School, High School, and Social-Emotional Learning Counselor for seven years. Before moving into the counseling profession I taught elementary school. I have worked with students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
I have helped children and adolescents work through many different types of struggles. Some of the most prominent are relationship issues, family conflict, self-harm, suicidal thinking, school-work stress, peer pressure, bullying, sexting/dating violence, and much more. These topics are extremely difficult and sometimes really hard to face; especially as a teen. I feel that I find positive ways to connect with each teen and that I am able to relate and understand their perspective. I treat each child/teen with a level of respect and a level of autonomy which helps them discover new ways to approach difficult circumstances.
If you are a teen or if you know of a teen struggling socially or emotionally I will help you navigate this journey.

We originally wanted a male counselor for our son. We were unable to find one in a timely manner however Miss Jennifer took her time to check on us until we’ve decided to go ahead and use her as a counselor. She has been phenomenal ever since. My son seems to be very open with her which is more than he has any other counselor we’ve used in the past. I would highly recommend Jennifer.
I've been talking with Jennifer for about 9 months, and I can't even begin to explain how thoughtful, non-judgmental, and caring she is. Super available, always checks in, and actually cares about each individual and genuinely listening to you and hearing from you.
Jennifer has been supportive of my busy schedule and doesn’t insist on a set appointment. She has been flexible and texted with me when ever I’ve needed. That has been such a big help with all that has been going on in our hospital! She is not pushy or judgmental of your issues and concerns. She is just supportive. Thanks!!
She’s helping me get thru a very rough time in my life. Since I’ve started therapy with her, she has made me feel so comfortable and understood. She makes it important to let me know in all of our sessions, that my feelings are important and valid. I really feel so much better since starting therapy with Jennifer.
My life has changed so much since I started talking to Jenifer. My anxiety and depression has gotten so much better over the past few weeks!
Jennifer is very insightful and understands me. She helps me to deal with my problems in an effective manner.
She’s been amazing. Understanding what I’ve been through and walking me through different steps to overcome my past.
I love Jennifer! Her advice and guidance helped me through my situation.
Jennifer talks to me like a friend in a way that makes sense to me. She checks up on me to see if I am doing well and helps me process things without overwhelming me.
Jennifer has been a tremendous help to me as I navigate this season of life. Her support in helping me find answers, understand myself and grow in my confidence has made such a difference for me. I would highly recommend Jennifer as a Counselor to anyone looking to find support.
Jennifer seems to understand what I am experiencing and offers possible solutions through messaging. I do wish we could talk on the phone or video chat more, writing (in my opinion) isn't always the best at conveying stories, thoughts, feelings etc.
