Hello! I'm Jenny, I am a licensed clinical social worker. Since graduating from IU School of Social work in 2011, my focus has mostly been on those with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. I have worked with several individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with Down's syndrome, ADHD, Bi-polar disorder, GAD, among others. I have worked as a behavior therapist for the past 8 years and am looking to continue to help others through additional platforms.
I believe it is important to focus on the individual and determine what works best for each person. I tend to focus more on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as utilizing a strength based approach. Overall, I would say I utilize an individualized eclectic approach.
I find it extremely important to help our youth in their emotion regulation and finding appropriate coping skills while they are young and are able to set themselves up with healthy choices moving into adulthood. Assisting youth in developing these skills and helping them understand their emotions leads to improved mental health throughout life.

Jenny has been great. It was my first time getting online therapy and I would definitley do it again. Thanks again Jenny!
Jenny is good at what She is doing. Calm and understanding.
Jenny is very compassionate and understanding. She's not judgemental in any way. She always listens and cares about what I have to say. When I think about how grateful I am for how she's helped me these last few months it almost makes me tear up. Thanks Jenny, you're a real one.

I was nervous about trying virtual therapy, but Jenny has made it a comfortable, safe space.
At first I was really anxious about the counseling but Jenny made it really easy for me to feel comfortable. As time passes, it feels amazing to talk to Jenny because I know that she understands me very well and every time I do it is really helpful.
Jenny has become a safe space where I can confide in her with my most difficult problems. She’s always empathetic and understands my character and is always gentle and understanding. She’s a good one
Jenny is kind, compassionate, patient, and really helps me determine whether my thoughts are based on my own projections onto others or true examinations of the facts in front of me. I feel the positive impacts of our sessions every week.
Knowing that I have an appointment coming up with Jenny gives me peace of mind. She really listens to me and helps me organize my thoughts. I feel cared for and understood. I’m very glad that I decided to give teen counseling a try!
