About me
The emphasis on my training is in child, adolescent and family therpy. I received a Master's degreee in Counseling Psychology at Antioch University of New England. I specialize in eating disorders and I have a combined 35 years experience as a psychotherapist.
I am certified in eating disorders. I have implemented Bio-Feedback as a tool. It has significantly reduced stress in people with ADD/ADHD, anger management, anxiety, and panic disorders. This system has also been found to effectively manage pain
I trained in Okinawa, Japan, focusing on meditation, and presently I have a seventh degree black belt. I use karate and meditation practices to further enhance my therapy.

JC is incredible to talk to - he makes it very easy for a first timer like me. I found him to be very understanding and calm and felt like he understood what I was trying to convey. He also helped me understand my concerns by breaking them down very well. My only qualm with JC is that I wish he had other days apart from Monday available to teencounseling.com users - I.e. More flexibility in timings. I would definitely recommend JC to others.
James helped our relationship greatly when we had mini bumps. He was able to assess our conflict as an outsider and give us not only the tools to navigate these circumstances, but also help us formulate a plan with goals and benchmarks to get to the next level of our relationship. I have been working with James for several weeks now. Like an onion, I have many layers and most make me cry, however James is really understanding and helps me navigate through my thoughts and feelings. He’s helping with my food addiction and supporting me as I relearn the “eat to live” vs “live to eat” mentality.
