About me
Greetings! I am glad you have found BetterHelp and am happy to introduce myself in hopes of being the right match for your therapeutic journey. My name is Jackie Angeloro and I hold my LCSW in the state of Florida and MSW in New York. I have worked with many different populations with ages ranging from 2 to 80-years-old in medical settings, community centers, housing centers, in homes and at schools. One of my passions is working with children and teens. I have worked with two wonderful non profit agencies to provide therapy to children and adolescents in office, home, and school settings. Some of the reoccurring themes I have seen and have much experience in with the teenage population are self esteem issues, navigating family systems (including transitions), trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues within peer groups. I also have experience providing therapy to individuals, family therapy, and providing group therapy. I pride myself on being a flexible therapist and am easily adaptable to the needs of my clients upon hearing their concerns. I find myself utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused therapy in many sessions and have seen much success with these intervention methods. My passion in therapy is to assist others on their journey and I feel like it is a privilege to be part of it. I would consider myself an attentive therapist and compassionate towards the needs of my clients.
I look forward to working with you on your journey.

Honestly i only recently started with Jackie and she’s the best! Extremely attentive and is a great listener. i’d recommend her to anyone.
Jacqueline is awesome. I have probably spent 2 years of my life in therapy before I started seeing her. I feel like we have addressed a lot in the couple months I've been seeing her. I have a lot more work to do. I'm not good with words, but she is an excellent therapist.
Jacqueline has been very helpful so far. She is patient, kind and attentive. I feel heard and understood and I look forward to our sessions
Very attentive, non judgemental and offers advice and help that we can attain. She's great!
Thankyou so much !!
Jackie is such a wonderdul insightful and intelligent person! She has literally been the best listener and offered me so much counsel over one of the hardest years of my life. Every call we had was like having a chat with a friend and she never once judged me or made me feel uncomfortable to open up. I will honestly always remember how much she helped me and my family. Really blessed to have met her.
A gentle, empathetic soul who is always present with you.
Jacqueline is so understanding and has made me see patterns I had no idea existed. She’s been a huge help thus far and I would definitely recommend her to any friend.
Jacqueline is the most accepting professional I've had the privilege of working with. She never makes me feel like the way I navigate my problems is wrong. I can always count on her whether I need step by step guidance or just need to rant for the majority of my session.
I am quite impressed with Jacqueline thus far. Thank you.
Jackie is so supportive. Through my challenges, she is encouraging and has a unique way of looking at situations with a different perspective. Jackie has helped me grow through my obstacles and has given me confidence.
I sought therapy because I was struggling with boundaries in my life. Jacqueline has guided me on the journey of re-learning my needs, and thanks to her expertise and perspectives have I begun to live a more fulfilling and calmer life.
Jackie is amazing and I would recommend her highly
Jacqueline is wonderful. She’s kind and patient with me whilst always encouraging me to focus in on things like healthy boundaries, self care and other things that I struggle with. She’s amazing and has helped me cope with so much.
Working with Jacqueline for the past few months has been an incredible experience. Her insight and approach to therapy has allowed me to understand and put into practice new routines that have made all the difference in my life. Thanks to her continued support, I have been able to gain the clarity I was has having trouble attaining on my own. From day one I’ve found it really easy to open up to her without hesitation, and I must say that in my experience this hasn’t always been the case.
As a mom I am so impressed with how Jacqueline has gotten to know my daughter and provided such wonderful guidance! My daughter looks forward to her weekly sessions and has really made such positive improvements since starting this program!!
Talking with Jacky is always a positive and productive part of my day. She always is able to help point out what I should consider when it comes to the difficulties I’m facing, and finding productive solutions. She is definitely a part of my week that I don’t want to miss because I always feel more positive and equipped to handle my problems after talking with her.
I’m not a very responsive person because this is the first time I ever talk to a professional but Jacqueline have honestly kept it up in checking on me even if I didn’t reply sometimes and just wanted to basically know even if I didn’t wanna talk at times that I was ok.
Jacqueline listened to our issues and opened up paths for communication that we were previously missing.
Jacqueline is kind, reassuring, non-judgmental and respectful.
Jackie has been extremely supportive of me since we started speaking. She has a lot of empathy and is entirely non-judgmental. She has an ability to see to the heart of the problem/issue and offers practical advice on handling it. Her advice and support has helped me through an extremely challenging time and I am extremely grateful to her for it.
We’ve chatted and set up voice call appointments. I’ve gone through in person therapy throughout college, but being in a foreign country Jacqueline also responds in a timely manner and sends me reminds that she’s here to talk to me and checks in throughout the week. It’s comforting to know she’s there and listening. Actively understanding. It’s very refreshing.
She’s really awesome and listens to you. She also gives get advice and worksheets that help you tremendously.
Jacqueline is an amazing counsellor. I had such a positive experience. She is incredibly client focused and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her as a counsellor.
