About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Life Coach, my background is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness, and emotional regulation. I have experience working with adolescents from ages 12 to 19, on family relationships, legal and substance use issues. My practice is built on positive psychology, attachment theory, and emotional intelligence. It is my pleasure to join with my clients for however brief or long our time together is. In therapy we work on identifying dysfunctional areas, often time rooted in personal perspectives, in life and relationships. Together we identify areas that need improvement, goals, and strategies for change. We work at the client's pace within our allowed time together. My aim is for teens and parents to feel safe to discuss personal challenges, with support in the problem solving process while preserving hope for positive change. Adolescents can be a challenging time for child and parent. Finding ways to share common ground, communicate effectively, and set positive boundaries will support increased harmony.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Heather Pantalone. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Heather’s help was extremely positive during pandemic times and a bit after. She helped our family to communicate better amongst ourselves and helped our daughter very much to get rid of many negative patterns and constant combative attitude. Helped her navigate a temporary gender dysphoria and gave her many tools to understand many processes she was going through during puberty. Heather successfully helped us achieve once more a peaceful and loving environment at home. We are extremely grateful to her kind and helpful input in our family dynamics. I recommend her services wholeheartedly, and will come back to her in case that we may need her in the future.
She is very professional, and understanding. she listens and always give me good advice. She bonds with the clients. She give me worksheets to work on it so that I can improve myself. She is kind and emphatic. I have changed many therapist in this app, but I would not change her because she really gets me!
I feel very comfortable speaking with Heather each time we meet. She is highly professional, yet also personable. I highly recommend her.

Heather has been nothing but helpful to me. She listens and understands situations very well and provides a sense of safety and comfort. Would recommend highly.
Heather is very kind and wonderful at holding space for me. I asked her in the beginning if she can act as a witness to my inner process and she has been doing just that! I really enjoy our sessions and I feel very safe and always leave with new self-insight.
