About me
I have been licensed in Missouri since 2007 and intermittently worked with children, teens and adults in group and therapeutic settings during my practicums, internships and parts of my professional career. I worked for a year with a transitional living program for runaway and homeless youth and shared the responsibilities of case management and strength based/solution focused therapy. The majority of my therapeutic skills have been used in interactions with homeless and runaway youth in the St. Louis area. The most important part of working with youth is to understand that they are experts in their experiences and my job is to be a safe space to process those experiences and to support the strengths they bring to the table to help them in understanding their own lives.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Heather Nash. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Heather is great to work with!
Heather is amazing. There are no words for how much I appreciate Heather. She listened well, gave me many options to help me get through what I was dealing with, and always reached out between visits to check on me.
Heather has been a great fit for my child. She listened to my child's concerns and customized her approach to fit their individual needs.
My son was really struggling with some things that were causing him to make bad choices and I was unable to fully help him. Heather did an amazing job getting him to open up, acknowledge what his strengths and weaknesses are and find helpful coping mechanisms moving forward. I highly recommend her!!
