About me

ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Pastoral Counselor in Massachusetts, who has been in the helping profession for over 26 years.

I have worked with teens and young adults with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, attachment issues, family conflict, and drug use/dependence/abuse.

I utilize an engaging, warm, and inviting approach to counseling. I use various and flexible, emotionally supportive methods to help you address your needs, accomplish your goals, and overcome barriers.

I also use a client-centered, strength-based, nonjudgmental approach to therapy. We will partner in creating a unique treatment plan that draws on your strengths and will allow you to maximize your therapeutic experience.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, together, we will develop an individualized plan that addresses your unique situation and needs.

I firmly believe that as an individual, you possess preexisting strengths and coping skills that you have gained through your life experiences. Therefore, I approach each person with the belief that through openness, transparency, concern, and empathy, we can learn from each other and form a formidable tag team in overcoming your challenges.

The most significant hurdle in this journey is taking the first step in seeking professional help. You have already made giant strides in this respect. You're on your way to accomplishing your goals.

I look forward to partnering with you as we discover and implement solutions to your problems.

After 4 months of therapy. I'll need to switch. Dr. Prospere is easy to talk to and gives constructive feedback. I just feel like I need a female to really open up being a young teen. And since I haven't felt fully comfortable I'm not really progressing
