About Me
I have almost 25 years of experience working with children (ages 3+), teens/"tweens," families, and parents/co-parents .
My favorite humans are teenagers. Teens often feel they are unheard and misunderstood, judged and underestimated. This often leads to feelings of isolation, feeling lost or adrift, and alone. I’m here to prove that not everyone over the age of 30 sucks.
Particular areas of interest: LGBTQ+, Cancer Care, Trauma-aware, Mindfulness, Anxiety and Mood Disorders.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the key to unlocking the door, no matter what issues lie behind that door. Without a strong foundation of trust, respect, and communication--the 3 pillars upon which any relationship is built--progress cannot be made. This is where we begin. My clients view me as empathic, empowering, and trustworthy--ideals I foster through open communication. I have a unique ability to meet people where they are so that I am able to guide them on their journey toward wellness. My goal is to help you move through your problems toward effective solutions.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ethel "Dawn" Capone. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Dawn , Thank you for helping Leah. She really liked speaking with you
I love her, she connects with her patient and doesn't judge. Helped me a lot and continuously helping me
So far she is so relatable, non-judgmental and easy to talk to. She’s two thumbs enthusiastically up!
Respectful and very easy to get along with, talking with them came very naturally.
