Erica Trocino

About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor and supervisor for new therapists in Arizona. I have worked with adolescents in a residential setting as their lives became out of control and unhealthy, presenting with a variety of concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, addictions, family and relationship conflicts, and traumatic experiences.

Being a teen is hard! My counseling style is validating and empowering as I believe difficult experiences can be the catalyst for significant personal growth when supported with warmth, compassion and space to feel your emotions fully. I approach therapy from a variety of perspectives such as humanistic, client-centered, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and solution focused modalities to honor the individuality of each person seeking help to create a customized treatment plan together.

Asking for help is an act of courage and desire for connection during times of struggle. I am here to support you and provide you with a safe place to share how you are feeling without judgment.

I look forward to our time together!

I've worked with several counselors, Erica is by far the most professional, empathetic and helpful therapist I have known. I've never felt more comfortable or understood as I have with her, nor seen as much progress in my own relational and mental health. I would and have recommended her to my family and friends.

Erica helped us when our daughter needed to work through some things. My daughter only felt comfortable communicating through text. Erica was there for my daughter to help her through many things and my daughter felt comfortable with Erica. My daughter is doing better now and I just want to give Erica a hug for helping her out. Thank you!
