About me
Greetings! My name is Erica Ashley, and I love working with teenagers! I have had the opportunity to working with teenagers who are at risk of out of home placement, who are on probation who have a variety of issues such as ADHD, depression, bipolar, anxiety, cutting/self harm, substance abuse, and running away, and helping them prepare for the future. I do understand that teenagers are unique and valuable and treat each as a jewel. In my experience I have learned that it is very important to build and establish trust and rapport, also to create a "judgement free zone" that allows them to be free to share thoughts, and feelings. I use a variety of approaches in order to reach teenagers such as cognitive behavior therapy, client centered, etc. I hope that I am chosen to help assist your teenager ! I look forward to hearing from you!

She’s wonderful! Very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I usually dread therapy, but I enjoy our meetings and leave feeling much better about everything in general. She’s extremely positive and uplifting!
She is the best! She is always there for you and always has your back.
Erica is incredible! She knows what she’s talking about, she speaks from experience, and she is so kind! She both cheers me on and doesn’t let me stay where I’m at in things; asking thoughtful questions to help me figure out what’s going on. Erica is careful to not allow me to overwhelm myself with my goals for the week, and she encourages me to break down goals into smaller, more achievable action steps. This has helped me grow so much in the last several months since I’ve been meeting with Erica. I am so grateful for her biblical perspective on life and her wise counsel. Thank you, teen counseling!
Erica is extremely accommodating, easy to communicate with and has a very calming way about her. She cares and you can tell she is clearly listening to all of my concerns, thinking and responding. She is very comforting and checks in.
Erica is very knowledgeable and understanding. Her experience and insight have helped me learn and build new skills and techniques for managing grief and family issues. Her supportive nature is reassuring and uplifting. Highly recommend.
Erica has been more than supportive, understanding and just amazing. She sits and listens to what I have to say and encourages me to do and be better.
