About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsins and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I have over 12 years of Licensed Professional Counseling experience. I have experience working with anxiety-obsessive compulsive-posttraumatic stress disorders, affective/mood disorders, employment and employee fit problems, anger management problems, relationship problems and sexuality/sexual behavioral problems.
I am easy to approach and meet my client's where they are with an eclectic therapeutic approach of cognitive behavioral variants, humanistic/existential, psychodynamic and solution-focused modalities. I am clear to thoroughly educate clients on what a diagnosis is and that a diagnosis is not who you are while building clear dialogue and rapport.
Whether you are looking to remedy a problem, learn more about why you feel the way you feel, are seeking happiness or have a desire to be the best you can be, lets talk. Change is the result of your efforts and if you are ready to embark on that journey, no matter how long or short, I would be privileged to assist, empower, support and even challenge as needed to help you meet your personal goals.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Edward Keane. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Time with Ed sharing your life as time passes is invaluable. He is a wonderful, kind being and makes you feel comfortable sharing who you are and your thoughts while instilling hope. I am very grateful that I have been paired with Ed.
Dr K is great
Ed is easy to talk and open up to. He has helped me gain new perspectives and has taught me how to cope with stress and anxiety. I highly recommend Ed as a therapist.
Very professional
I have been working with Edward Keane for nearly six months now. In that time I have found him to be generous, compassionate, patient, and immaculately professional. He is attentive and detailed and highly knowledgable and I feel I have made very good progress under his guidance. I feel lucky to have been assigned to him.
Kind and supportive
Mr. Keane is a wonderful counselor. He's truly helped me get through my trauma and helped with my anxiety. Even day to day life I can trust and talk with him about. I don't think I've truly had a counselor care as much as he does.
After a few sessions with Edward Keane, it's very clear to me that he cares deeply about his clients. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and provides very good strategies to work past any struggles you may have. It's very clear that he's an expert in his field and highly recommend him to anyone that may be struggling , need answers or guidance.
Really appreciate his insights and practical advice.
I really enjoy my sessions with Mr. Keane. So far he has been a great help to me.
I am looking forward to becoming my best self with Mr. Keane's help.
Mr. Keane exemplifies professionalism in every session and has been helpful in that he has drawn out of me things that I needed to articulate and discover that seemingly were just vague and undefined in my own thinking. I have reached clarity and feel emotionally in far better space because of his help. I highly recommend him.
Highly recommend his services. With his background, he was able to understand my struggle and provide critical knowledge to accept what the struggle was and to not let my emotions get the best of me.
