I've work with teen for 25 yrs an value their unique perspective on life. I believe young people are the hope for our culture's future. I think being a teenager has it's own challenges and concerns and I will help you navigate this tricky stage of life. My approach is gentle and conversational and I'll do my best to insure that your experience is pleasant and beneficial. My goals are to help you reduce stress and anxiety due to "self-consciousness", to help you improve your self-talk, help boost your confidence and
use music, art, writing or exercise to self-soothe. I'll teach you how to focus more on what you have control over to help you feel more in charge of your life. My mottoes are "stay in the present as much as possible because it's the safest and most manageable place to be" and , "work your problems instead of letting them work you".

She was a good therapist and all, I guess, but she gave kinda unhelpful advice. And I'm pretty sure in our last session she was on her computer doing something else.
Cynthia is a great listener, she’s supportive and attentive. I’ve only had a few sessions, but I’m grateful for her unbiased opinions and the empathy she has shown me.
Cynthia is fantastic! She listens to me and helps me to see my problems in a new light. She’s very responsive and has been really helpful through some dark times for me.
Cynthia is a very kind and caring person and she is easy to talk to. I can tell she supports my well-being and is invested in helping me.
I haven't been with Cynthia too long but have already made a good bit of progress with my mental health. She always says at least one very wise applicable thing during the session that I end up telling my friends or family and reminding myself for comfort throughout the days. Highly reccomend this process and especially Cynthia.
Cynthia has been very thoughtful and welcoming during our sessions! :)
Cynthia is great. I’ve only had a few sessions with her so far but she’s a great listener and is super helpful :)
Cynthia helped me in a time when I really needed to talk to someone outside of the people I knew, and helped me through a lot. I was grateful every time we spoke
She responds quickly. She's a great listener and offers great advice. She's super nice and I am glad she is my counselor. She doesn't make me feel crazy or dismiss me.
