About me
I have worked with people all of my working life. As a therapist I have worked all populations, mandated clients inmates, both male and females, even adolescent aged juvenile delinquent. I have worked in prisons max levels to mediums. I have worked in residential care for juveniles to outpatient care for children. I recently have retired from the State of New York putting 30 plus years behind to work on-call as a psychiatric on call evaluator in the emergency room, and a therapist for a local family medical center seeing nearby college adults.
I have worked with many people with a wide range of concerns and struggles, from Mental Health issues like Bipolar disorder, to PTSD and Trauma issues, Coping Anxiety issues, Attachment and Abandonment problems, ADHD, Loss, Grief, Schizophrenia, Abuse, Self-Injury, Self-Esteem, Parenting, Relationships, Anger, Personality Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, OCD and Depression.
I do not care for labels, and I do believe in treating everyone as they treat me with respect and professionalism and compassion. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach and tailor your Treatment need that is unique to each client. I use an emotional Support Pet named Moe Bailey ( as long as everyone is not Allergic-Lol! ha ha it's virtual) I use humor lots! It makes seeing a therapist fun.

You are a wonderful therapist ✨️
Cynthia is great! We have her for couples therapy. We’ve been married for over 15yrs and find her skills very useful to help us improve our relationship each week. She provides humor, grace, and sometimes “tough love” if we need that to help us be our best versions of each other as we grow. Highly recommend her and especially for those who’s partner is a first responder or in the military. Having her understand that side of life is very important for our situation.
Cynthia is a wonderful therapist! She really listens and understands me. She has helped me with my family issues, ADHD and other problems that I’m dealing with. She gave me worksheets to do that could be helpful. Ever since I started doing therapy with her, things have gotten better because she helped me improve things I needed to improve on. I definitely recommend her!
Cynthia has helped me before and i returned to her straight away when i needed therapy again. She hears and see’s me.
I was doubtful about how useful couples therapy would be when my husband suggested it. But since starting with Cynthia, we are communicating better than we have in years. Cynthia speaks to us asa real human with personal experience that helps us to unlock and recognise our own issues, anxieties and blockers. She has been a fantastic guiding light as we learn to reconnect.
Cynthia has been with me through the hardest times of my life so far and is incredibly supportive. She always knows what to say to help me reclaim my peace and empower me to keep trying. So grateful for her and her expertise!
We are only a few sessions in, but Cynthia has been very supportive and affirming for us both in our non-traditional relationship.
Therapy always boils down to whether you're willing to do the work, but Cynthia is good at listening and provoking good discussions for those who are engaged, thoughtful, and motivated to work with their partners.
Cynthia is very professional and very attentive. excellent listener.
Caring and responsive.
She is awesome
First impressions are always everything. She was personable right off the bat and started talking to us like she’d been an acquaintance which made an uncomfortable feeling way more relaxed. She is also very laid back and personable. Good at “reading the room”, eliciting information from more silent type people and aight on to our personalities quick.
Cynthia is a wonderful individual – this is my first time in therapy and she’s really helped me feel comfortable and safe to discuss everything I’ve needed to get out. She’s also really funny and helps you feel at ease and relatable with great stories during sessions ☺️
Cynthia has been a really wonderful support and thoughtful listener. It has been a great experience working with her.
Cynthia was kind and a great listener. She has a lot of experience when it comes to helping people and you can tell she really wants to help you too. Highly recommend!
Cynthia has been very helpful and attentive to my issues and questions. Slowly getting better with dealing with my anxiety and PTSD
She’s the best!!
Cynthia has helped me understand my mental health so much and I feel so much better equipped to face my issues!
Best therapist ever.. best energy best understanding and solution.. ive been depressed and suicidal thougnts since 13 cynthia heped me work thro all of that shes the best therapist ive ever met
she is fantastic
Cynthia put me at ease within 5 minutes of our first conversation. I was hesitant to try online therapy because I was concerned about not feeling a connection to my therapist, but I’m pleased to say that has not been my experience at all. Cynthia helps me feel heard, understood, and most of all, human. A very positive experience thus far.
Amazing, supportive, I felt yhat I knew her for a long time, understanding and great listner
Great listener, has great advice for navigating through emotional times and thoughts
Cynthia is a wonderful therapist! She is a great listener, takes the time to understand the situation, and empowers me to improve my mental health. I'm eternally grateful for her support and expertise!
I've only had 1 session with Cynthia, but I already rescheduled a 2nd session with her. She gets straight to the point and already has helped me grow. I guess I got lucky matching with her for my first therapist.
I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes of talking to someone whether or not we get along, and I am happy to say Cynthia and I vibed right off the bat. I have only had one session with Cynthia so far, but I am already super stoked to continue working with her. Her communication style is very direct, as is mine, which helps reduce my anxiety during sessions as I never feel like she is just telling me what I want to hear. Additionally, she was great at slowing me down a bit and re-directing me back to the topic at hand, which is awesome if you have crazy ADHD like I do.
If you’ve been put off by past therapists who seem disingenuous, or felt like you weren’t actually being heard, then Cynthia is the lady for you. You’ll never feel like your being overanalyzed or judged, which once again is really helpful for those with Social Anxiety. She is straight up, supportive, and sincere.
Thanks Cynthia!
Cynthia is very good at keeping our sessions light-hearted with jokes and relatable stories. She's very supportive, open-minded, and understanding and I feel very comfortable saying literally anything that's on my mind to her!
Cynthia is such a lovely person, she has such a bright energy about her and she’s a great listener. Feels like I’m talking to a good friend who I feel comfortable ranting to, I feel safe talking to her about anything!
Thank you for bringing us closer and understanding completely :)
Since working with Cynthia my daughter has gained a better understanding of her own behaviours and is happier to make decisions knowing that they might not be the right ones but that this is ok and part of life! She’s happier in herself and appears more confident too.
Cynthia was instrumental in helping me overcome issues with my anxiety. She creates a calm environment and understood how to best assist me in helping myself overcome issues I was having with anxiety and depression. I would highly recommend to anyone going through similar issues and would also be happy to work with her again if I felt I needed to.
